So u are fighting a dominix 1v1 how do u win?
Answer:u cant
Tech 2 drones maxed gallente bs skills plsu 5 med slots free for ecm
A tremendous tank even if u can get a lock - carrying multiple drones so can change damage types.In 1v1 this ship is unbeatable and it is ridiculous.Remove or nerf drones - automatic bull**** should not be the uber.
Any suggestions on how to beat a domi in 1v1 welcome - I look forward to knocking them all down |

Calling primary on us works fairly well.  1v1? This isn't WoW, m8. PvP is fleet combat, small and large. Going up against anyone solo, without at the least backup on the way, is stupid. |

There's a counter to drones, there's a counter for ECM, there's a counter for tanks...
Counter for drones: Small guns, smartbombs, your own drones, outtanking them
Counter for ECM: ECCM, Using your own ECM, Smartbombs, FoF missiles (im sure theres more)
Counter for tanks: Neuts & Damage
Conclusion: Dominixes are not unbeatable |

The only way to beat a Dominix is to use more Dominixes. This is clear indication that Dominixes are overpowered and should be nerfed. |

but they all have the multi ecm so no dominix would lock other dominix and nobody could shoot anybody thus rendering all dominixes INVINCIBLE:(((( |

So lets nerf the domi, then another BS will be invincable, lets nerf that one to, then the next one is invincible... For once to all you whiners: "learn to think outside of the box". So now some suggestions: - USe a domi yourself - Use a blaster mega max damage. No domi with dual rep + boosters can tank a properly fitted mega for max damage. - Use a Scorp with all gall racials + damp ( will take a while and kill drones of domi with your own drones) - Use a Typhoon fitted for kill a domi...if you fit smart, you can counter a domi - Use an apoc...it can tank 5 drones forever! (Even if they are from a domi) Use your brains and think something yourself  |

1) Nothing with an active tank is going to win against a domi short of a cap ship
2)This means the easiest way to beat a domi is to fit a buffer tank.
End result:
Torp raven is your best bet, followed by an AC pest. |

A curse with 2x tracking disruptors will keep the guns at half the range and half the tracking speed.
A curse with up to 15 hammerhead II:s can easily handle the domi's own drones.
And finally, a curse fitted with a heavy unstable power fluctuator sucks it dry. Yes, it fits. Just stick RCU:s in the lows.
The drones do the rest.
The domi is not invincible. |

You only really stick a heavy energy neut on a curse for exteme range, and the sacrifice is it turns your armor to paper mache with all the slots sacrificed which may not outlast the heavy drones before you take them down. Might aswell use some mediums as you'll likely be close range to make the turrets have a harder time tracking you anyway. |

Of course. A heavy neut curse is a tissue paper. But the question was, admittedly a bit stretched, how to win over a domi. That is ONE way to win over a domi. If anyone was dumb enough to try it in the wild, he probably deserves to loose the curse to the mates that come rushing to help out the stricken domi. But the heavy neut curse can dictate range to be pretty safe from the domi. |

say there was real (not planned) 1 vs 1 combat in eve, you could kill a dominix 1 on 1 in prety much ships. First things that come to mind.
Geddon with 7 megapulses , passive tank , 3x heatsinks , 5 heavy ecm drones, a neut.
typhoon with 4 t2 torp launchers , 2x t2 large AC's , 2x heavy neuts , 5x heavy ecm drones. Passive tank and ****load of weapon upgrades.
Most HAC's will pwn a dominix if you know how to fly them....
Raven + neuts + ecm drones will pwn a domi.
Allmoast all BS with smartbomb fitted will pwn a domi.
If the domi is passivly tanked recon ships and t1 cruisers can even kill it.
