Step #1: Trash this whole mess. Optional: Hang the culprit, put his body on display as a lesson for those about to come. Step #2: Implement button: "Send skill list to player _____ "

The Cert system will be more of a Corp recruiting tool i suppose, saying, "I HAVE THIS!" rather than doing Evemon Skill plans. Its way overdue and under researched imho. There are some good points in it, but the nice little skilltree system is stupid compared to the Evemon Skillplan idea. |

Exactly, since being a Corp recruiting tool is one of the most -if not the most- important ideas behind the whole thing, why not just allow people to pass their skill lists between eachother? Way faster. |

True about the limited API+Evemon! However... Ingame = laziest solution!
Besides, I'm still wondering what the criteria there was... Who came up with such relations between skills? The enemy? You should see my hybrid skills and then my gunnery certificates, they got less in common than a shotgun and a silencer.
Cheers! |

i have actually seen silencers on shotguns.
the certs are a great detour for new players, or a very basic guidance tool depending on the player |

When Eve-Mon Catches up to the cert plan players will have a more complete and usefull toolset for character planning.
