I'm pretty new and have a question about standings and whatnot. Alright so I'm on level 1 missions even though they are extremely easy, trying to work my way to level 2s. I'm doing this through the caldari navy agents. I looked at future agents in this corp at this site: http://www.eve-agents.com/index.dxd?AgentName=&System=&Region=10000002&Corporation=-&Faction=500001&Division=90&Level=1&Skill=-&Locator=-&Storyline=-&FWAgent=-&Sort=2&Direction=0 , and the caldari navy does not have any level 4 agents, at least according to this site.

So this leads me to my question.

Once level 3 missions become too easy (since the caldari navy has no level 4 agents) do I have to start all the way over with a new corporation, starting at level 1 missions? meaning basically i have to do well over 3 - 400 missions to get to level 4. Or does my standing with the caldari state come into effect here with all caldari corps? basically what im asking is... currently I have a .29 standing towards the caldari state, does that mean I start out with a .29 standing with any caldari corporations?

OR is the guide wrong and there are level 4 caldari navy agents? In highsec of course.(I really like their LP rewards)

this is all very confusing to me, if someone could clear this up that would be awesome.

There are no L4 Caldari Navy agents in The Forge region.

There's plenty in other places, notably The Citadel. If you know which corp you want to work for, the easy way to check is to show info on that corp in-game and look at the Agents tab.

As to your other question, yes, if your standing with the Caldari State is 0.29, you can work for any Caldari agent who requires a standing of no more than 0.29. You only need standing with either the agent, or his corp, or his faction. (In other words, when your standing is 7.00 you can work for any L4 agent in the entire faction, regardless of corporation.)

And don't forget about the Connections skill. That will allow you to jump to L2 or L3 agents quickly, too.

while yes connections can help you move up in levels and quality and even skip levels depending on how you train it... as my corp ALWAYS tells newer mission runners...

BE CAREFUL

dont go ungrading your connections and go from L1 to L3 unless u're sure your ship and skills can handle it... just because your agent likes you more and will give you that L3 doesnt mean you can handle it on your own... im not saying you personally cant handle it but be careful, the big bump connections can give has gotten many a pilot into situations that are insane.
