I want more ingame events! The last one there was was the armageddon day a year ago and because it was on the test server you couldnt get into it as it was full. Even the unnammed game is running an event now and judging by the steady flow of carebear tears on their forums, its going pretty well actually  ! So CCP LESS ambulation MOAR fun ingame events like snowballs! |

Events doesn't have to have prizes. In the case of prizes, they don't have to be awesome. A "simple" battlecruiser can easily be the 1st prize and people will still participate, even though it's not something spectacular... |

You may not want to take part in events with such a lousy reward, but there are thousands of others that think a Battlecruiser is going to make their ingame life SO much easier, making it worth getting out of bed, even if they're having sex at the time  Me, I'd like something fancy too, but only because I already have so many ships and isk that I don't care about them anymore. Not enough to give anyone my stuff, though, but...  |

They should have Holiday-themed decorations on stargates and other space structures. Like green and red running lights on ships for christmas, fireworks that fire w/o target and explode harmlessly on new years, pumpkins in space... etc etc.

5 years of reasonably active play, ive only ever seen/heard about 3 in local as i pass through and only been directly involved twice. and the last time was well over a year ago. bring on more event guys! (i mean players or support able to arrange and organise events!) X me up |

I have played other MMOs and they have always had events durring holiday seasons and what not. Even tho we are a world wide game as most MMOs are most of the world celebrates some type of winter holiday (north) or summer holiday (south) durring december on or there about. Not everyone celebrates X-mas, I understand and here in the US it is becomming politically incorrect to call the winter holidays X-mas, but all the PC BS aside some type of even that if every one who participated in it recieves some in-game item(s) that can be used through out the year would be cool. I joined the game right after the snowballs and cannons. That would have been a blast to play with. I aquired a cannon from a ship I destroyed but the inferno of the ships destruction melted the snowballs it was carrying. Also if the items are consumable like snowballs make them available to purchase more from NPCs while the event is underway and also bring them back the next year so we can still play with our toys.
FFXI (my other fav MMO)Durring the winter holidays had a small quest that would give you a Santa hat. It was easy and fun and you could "upgrade" your hat to a +1 if you did another quest that was a little harder. The following year you did another quest and you could get a Santa robe. You could buy the hat from last year (not the +1 tho) from an NPC and so on each year till you were able to have a full santa suit hat, gloves boots and all. This was really fun to do and almost everyone participated in the events even the extreme high level players. Now you didnt get much help form the gil farmers (same as bot miners here) but they are not really here to play the game any way.
Events like this would be great, make them fun and give everyone that participates a reward for doing the event. Not like a contest where only one person wins. Players can set those up and they do all the time, with Lotterys and frig fights and what not. These things would be able to be done in ambulation as well and could even be extended into ambulation by giving our avatars clothing or items to show off and have some fun with. Also the winter holidays are not the only time this could be done, and each race could also have their own special holiday or event depending on their "traditions".
Just some food for thought to let us take a break from the games main life and have some fun for everyone. Carebears and pirates alike.
