sometime today withing 9 hours i will break 10m sp on my chatacyers 6th month bday..
its my first big mile marker. I am happy as i fly hacs and can use t2 weapons for me class of ship.
Next mile marker is 20m sp :D

1 mil was pretty big, but new characters start out with near enough that now.
used to be you had (if i recall correctly) 40k skill points to start with, and you nearly died on the tutorial, lol
also your starting attribrutes were usually lower, whereas now you can start with some of the learning skills already done. |

the capability of haxxing another 3m+ SP onto a 6m old character?
Afaik you train about 1.1m SP per 30d with +4's and IV in your learning.
A noob starter character has 880k SP (depending on what char you start).
6x 1.1m = 6,6m
6,6m + 880k = 7.5m SP.
and this is calculated with the IV learnings and the +4 set of implants. which a starting char wont be capable of having.
All the learning skills to IV would get you 1.2m SP in learning. that leaves 5.4m SP to train in that 6 months period (still taking that you have the IV learning and the +4's in from day 1).
For the looks of my logic, its impossible to gain 10m SP in 6 months.
Actualy, with last times Power of 2 offer i created a new carrier alt, specificly trained for the gall carrier, it has a +5 set in since it was 2 1/2 weeks old (did cybernetics to V first) and it had 8.8m SP after the 6 months ended.
I sence fail, probably on your end. |

depends vastly on the atrubrutes.
its not right to say the carrier pilot couldn't do it so this guy couldn't.
it depends on your starting attribrutes, and what your training.
hes he has hac, and T2 guns, but thats not to say he hasn't got 4mil in drones and has uber memory and inteligence.

My learnings are at 5/4 bar charisma which is 4/3 as i dont intend to train any chr based skills unless i REALLY have to. IE commandships and social skills related to missions etc. I have 24x4 attributes and a 15 chr. i learn 2,178 sp per hour or 52,272 per 24 hours or 365,904 per 7 days or 1,463,616 per month or 19,027,008 per solar year. IF i dont do any chr based training... I do infact have +4's.. happy now mr troll? |

my first real marker was hitting 10mill sp, my second marker was 50mill sp, and now i dont really have much goals left other then to one day reach 100mill sp |

10mil was a good marker for me, also shows your pretty hooked. Next one for me is 50mil and like the guy above said likely 100mil after that. This particular character will be likely maxed out in all things Amarr and be flying an Aeon when I hit that point, just hope Eve is still going. |

I remember hearing that the average character in Eve had seven million skillpoints, and waiting for that... it was probably the biggest milestone i anticipated. I enjoyed breaking 20 million as well. |

hmm too long ago to remember first milestones.... probably getting t2 mining lazers / scythe would have been first ones. otherwise t2 torp raven, logistic 5 and a bunch of other small milestones. my favorite achievement skillwise so far though is all learning skills to lvl 5 (5.3 mil sp =) ). Not really useful and payoff is probably a decade but it makes my e-peen feel good.
oh yeah 50 mil sp coming up in a few months... that should be good

Big milestone for me was completing Capital Ships 5 before training all frigs/cruisers to 5. Amarr/Caldari/Gallente BS at 5 now I gotta finish Minmatar BS 5!
Won't be long now till I reach 100mil SP \o/

I think my first milestone was finishing Drone Interfacing 5 and Heavy Drone Operation 5 over the summer holidays. Those were the first skills that weren't rank 1 or 2 to get up to level 5. |

Congratulations you are getting there eventually. I remember how happy I was when I got to 1M 10M and then 25M now I am looking forward to 75M, which I should reach somewhere during summer next year.  the whole 50M was well a fleeting moment as I was training one of the capital related skills to 5 so by the time I was done with that I was well over the 50M so I sort of missed that magic moment  You currently have 193 skills and 67,042,486 skill points |

On my main I have +4's and learning to 5, basic to 5 and advanced to for, and yes, I roughly gain approx. 10msp in 6months. (based on the past year and the sp/h i train) Of course, more if I train the skills I have high att's in, and less if I train only the skills I have low att's in =D |

Personally I have been trying to get all my skils to level 4 or 5, current i am 1 skill away from achieving this (9 days), been a long time in the making.

you dont NEED frigate V to fly a hac. as it is... I am filling gaps now on my chr. almost done with cap skills. about to work on armour skills and then finish off navigation and guns. only need AWU iv to put on 5x HB II and semi decent tank plus AB 10 II. altho i might have to see after this next expasion. |
