I think you make a mistake in assuming that AAA and Red alliance and the other russian speaking alliances are strickly "russian" alliances. And even TCF will say they are not a french alliance, they are a french speaking alliance. If you look at it like this, there are not really any "American" alliances, but there are English speaking alliances. And it seems to me that eve is controlled mostly by English speaking alliances than any other language.

I think the differences between Goonswarm and BoB are quite obvious given their different nationalities. Despite being a far younger alliance than BoB, Goonswarm has achieved much more, and goons are free from the sort of red-pen waving tyranny of BoB's whiny prima donna leadership. BoB has achieved what it has because of dev corruption(i.e., socialism) while Goonswarm's success is based on hands-off laissez-faire economics.

I'm amazed no one has pointed out that the euro's are a bunch of insomniacs. They usually don't log off until about 1 hour before I'm going to log off, usually midnight or earlier. Australians are early risers in the gaming community and tend to join us around 10 pm. So it's less of a question of having an independent time zone as OP seems to think. Which is great because it allows us Americans to laugh at your moon speak.

here's some food for thought. i'm from iceland originally, my family is of largely of russian extraction and i presently reside in los angeles, US.

if i were to judge from some of the replies to this thread, it seems that being 'american' is hereby defined as a brand of ignorance and bigotry, which doesn't really describe well the sort of people i know in real life. come to think of it, the behaviour doesn't really differ that much from european trolls or any other.

rather than claim some national or cultural identities to champion on here, why don't we make it easier by referring to such people as 'internet ******s'

America is culturally bankrupt.

Hmmm, Sounds like a person pretending to be a sociologist, talking about a place they don't fully understand, and grouping people from there into one catagory. Yes we as a people make many mistakes, as if the rest of the world never did / does. You say we sold our freedom for equality. Some people in the human race believe that everyone has potential. Even though our systems fail on many levels, and they do for anyone ready and willing to defend them blindly, they are not perfect and never will be, (back to the point) we attempt to fix things. And your right its hard to win a race chained to the back of it. But if anyone will do it, we will. So far you only show that you can't and are unwilling to try.
Here is a nice idea. Instead of declaring devine justice on someone, and producing a paragraph long repertoire of our failures in what seems to be a poorly arranged sociological statement, learn something. Go back to school if you have not already.
Oh for the record, yes the majorities of control are shared by euro timezones, russian timezones and what have you. We are blended. I see the web as a way to interact with people based on ideals. Personally I believe in the things my corp believes in. And that is why I don't own my own space. We do. And if you'd like, We will be happy to come take yours. Off your soapbox and man up child.
One more thing.
I am an individual. I am like no other, clearly seen by my look, but also my personality. Sure I am albino, and there are not many to match me. This is a lolamerica thread, the answer to the op's question is pretty much this. We are in the 'euro/russian' corps having fun. But that doesn't make as good of a troll. OP did a good job.
