I'm a firm believer of the "Strong, Smart, Tactical". These guys are the ones who put effort in to destroying people and taking space to live in for their own and this is what i believe to be professional.

Now, the NC aren't Strong, smart or tactical and have (in my opinion) no brains and no brawn to throw at people. Maybe if the NC step up their recruitment reqs and start getting professional pilots. We may see a difference.

EVE is player driven - most of the 'content' in this game is created by the actions of Alliances. Some are good - they do stuff - plan and scheme and make stuff happen. Some are bad, they sit around and do nothing year after year getting nice and fat and boring. Guess which category the NC falls into.

#1 I think the reason they have huge PR issues in the game is fairly simple. Null-sec is supposed the be dangerous, not Empire with better rats and moon minerals. All good enterprises in life or in game should have a balance between risk vs. reward. By their actions they have effectively made most of non-GBC Eve alliances "blue", which aggravates everyone since the purpose of null-sec is to pew pew.

#2 I think GBC are still a bit ****ed off about the whole invasion thing and winning the CAOD war? :P

If we're attacked for being carebears it makes the attackers not much more than empire gatecampers or atleast it would seem that's what they are striving to be since they got such a hardon for killing carebears and taking an awful amount of care doing it. :)

Bottom Line is ofcourse that EVE thrives on conflict and as such we're the juiciest target probably easiest to take down considering we're a bunch of equal allies and that setup alone will cause us stress when we're under pressure. Besides that the other GBC option was an enemy that they had just lost 5 regions to so I guess that meant it was a no-go.

However we're not more hated than other entities. It just appears we are right now with all the hostiles that are coordinating against us. Afterall you need to fuel the fire in some way :)
