Edited by: Kyguard on 23/10/2008 02:34:17We are a tight group of experienced 0.0 and empire pvpers that are currently undecided on where to head next and want to see what eve-o has to offer. We come as a package and most of us have been flying together for over 2 years. For us it's not just important to find a corp to join, but more picking a path or alliance we would be comfortable and proud following, thus what we want is broad enough - basically we're willing to try anything that we don't outright hate. What we're looking for:- Roaming and small gang warfare a must in 0.0
- Fleet action
- A healthy balance between the two above
- Not a "blob" alliance; we don't only want to win, we also want to have fun and we get our fun from challenge; an alliance that has balls and its own personality, not just a standings list
- An active and established corporation, we don't want to be the leg keeping the corporation alive, efficient logistics if required; people logging in regularly and getting things done
- Cool people in the corp; sociable atmosphere on vent between flying; be able to fly with experienced pvpers
- Preferably US timezone, but not required
- No -10 a must; don't mind burning sec status though
- Plenty of pew pew
- Space to make isk is a good thing
- Vent or ts mandatory
- Long lasting direction, not just the FOTM
0.0 large fleets are not a must, but we do prefer to do the majority of our roaming and small gang warfare in 0.0, and can do large fleets as well when required. Who we are:- 8 highly skilled and experienced players in small gang warfare in both 0.0 and lowsec, adequately skilled in larger scale battles; 8 players with guts to fight the odds; veterans of npc space and conquerable space; all active
- Four capital pilots
- Two experienced FCs
- Two 'michelangelo' at sig-making
- Self-sufficient; some may require time between ownage to npc or run missions; can run our own logistics
- Good attitudes and easy going; always enjoy a good laugh
- Loyal group of players that don't quit easily
- Players with rich backgrounds and history from all around eve

Kyguard, many people will say "I can offer you everything you want" but let's look at some facts that seperate Eve Defence Force from the rest. - We've been around for five years and have survived just about everything Eve can throw at us (and we've had more thrown at us than most).
The corp is more like a family than a corporation. We maybe ambitious, we may want to grow but not at the expense of that tightnit feel.
- We're hugely expereinced. Just take a look at Battleclinc for the total number of kills in five years and you'll see it compares to the best out there.
- Take a look at our killboard and you'll see just how good we are. How many roaming ganks are there? How many fights where we've been outnumbered have we fought?
- While Fleet fights are the exception to the rule rather than the norm, we've a pedigree in them extending back years and have a very low loss rate in them.
- We're in Resurgency so you guys know both Eve Defence Force and Resurgency and you know what you can expect by us. Having said that:
- This isn't like last time. There is a plan.
- We're in better space
Long lasting vision you say? Again I point to the fact we've been around for five years and plans put into place two years ago are comming to fruition. I plan long term.We like people with Drake flying addicitions  Seriously though, I can offer you so much that I'm not going to go into on a forum so do me the honour of convoing/mailing me and we'll arrange a chat between myself and the rest of you fellas. I suggest Agony. I am not a member but have heard great things about them from a very close RL friend. If you are uncertain about joining, I suggest taking their PVP class(es) for a "test-drive". There are a bunch of really great guys in Agony. They are very sharp and very insightful.

Kyguard is an extremely laid back and efffective pvper. Funny to boot.

Wow lots of evemails and lots of posts, my inbox just kept blinking faster than I could read em! Unfortunately a lot of convoes too :D. Another reason I said to post here instead of convoes was because it's a lot easier for the rest of the guys to see what you've got to offer ;] but hey keep it comin keep it comin!
Thanks for all the offers so far, lots of tempting corps and alliances out there, wish I had alts and days ran 72 hours so I could have a slice of all the pies. I'm gritting my teeth who'd I want to join :P

OMG  Sure stoked up some intrest hear folks  Well heres my sales pitch :) Shadows a pvp corp, been running for over 5 years. Its a fairly stable corp and is active. Relaxed bunch, like to keep the stress and OMGWTF rants to 0 and just bring in and play with people that require none of that to start with. Lots of experianced players, lead by experianced players. Take in the odd rookie or two to train them up, everyone has to start somewhere and the "home grown" talent we have normaly does well. We're not elitist, we do expect pilots to be professional and have some common sence but were not into telling people they suck in 20 differant ways and using lots of !!!! to get people to do stuff. We dont have to, they want to do it as a corp and want to learn. To be honist, and straight to the point after my ramble, everything in your "What we're looking for" list we have. I can say that in confidence. It just comes down to where on the epic alliance warfare fence you want to be, left, right or balancing in the middle. Look me up in-game or keep and eye out for Mywad, you can join shadowcompanychat channel as well. Thanks for your time, and hope you get down the list of post, your definately in demand :) Merr |
