Anyway. Wasnt involved in M-O directly but through combination of TS/some chanels for both sides/etc etc......
Personally, i dont like events to turn out the way they did...losses on 1 side, not on other. Those that are killboard *****s and like to ****, might like it (it is nice to see many red lines on killboard)....but i prefer direct conflict.
But this is reality of EVE atm.
From what i heard during a fight, nod crashed. But at same time while some were given orders to loged of, others were thinking they are ok and "stayed loged in". This might be 1 of reason why 1 group loged in first, and others were loging in chain way. As I said, it might be 1 of a reasons....then again, it allways interesting to read all sort of theories.
but after all this years with same problem, i dont get how ppl cant coordinate common procedure when nod crash, and that is , restart completely your client and log back with patiance. |

In defense of the blue forces, every KIA pilot attempted login the moment the first node crash happened.
that is 110 pilots from the 1100 in system.
By the time the very first person had loaded, local was at 120, and it was mostly bob. From the entire KIA fleet we have only 13 reported actual loads into game.. less than 15% of our fleet loaded in nearly 4 hours.
There is no fkin I win log in button, it simply must be settings and experience, but the reality remains, last nights "fight" started of well, with some pretty epic fighting, and a distinct chance for either side to win, but from the first node crash on it was a joke.
Most of the KIA guys that stuck around for nearly 4 hours attempting to log in, never loaded, and most have been paid insurance on their ships.
Now after being forced to goto bed due to work etc next day, logging back in is insta death, as BoB hold system tight.
No emorage quit from us, but a real dissapointment in how things turned out.
CCP should seriously consider how to handle last nights **** storm.
Whatever the forwad situation, gfBoB and well played. |

Eddz, its a well known fact that GBC/BOB pilots have a lower player ID, so are able to log in and take priority over others. I thought you knew this.  |

I'd say load percentage was about the same for us. Most (incl. me) just loaded at the end of the fight. |

What things? After crash KIA had 14% of local count, unless you have low IDs too we can assume that anyone had his chance and in the end NC/KIA/TCF/Kitchen_sink should have more ppl in system than GBC. You had more support in, more caps too. What is NC problem then? Obvious FC incompetence from your side maybe? GBC Titan in half armor; GBC Mothership down (there was none from GBC side) and so on... you can play this cards only (very) few times. Don't wonder when NC pilots will start doubting your words, lies are not good for morale too, I would gladly die instead of being tricked into logging back.. just to be slauthered. |

It is still, when all is said and done, WHINING! Every SINGLE pilot (yours/NC/GBC) who jumped into that system KNEW the risks. Regardless fo all the moaning, we saw the server hold an 1100 fight (including 700 of those loading) for 10 minutes with fast response times and CCP need to be congratulated on that. Its a massive improvement. |

It's a sad day indeed when one has to agree with a DICE member. We all know how it is, yet we go for it anyway (thou some choose to select circumstances slightly less ridiculous than this). Not sure what anyone expected, but I'm sure no one expected a good fight. It sounds like people knew it was going to be a coin toss and a race to the login screen. Sad state of affairs to be fighting in, but a fight one chooses none the less. |

That was a real nice who0pin.....  on another note how will the massive loss of caps affect the NC war effort regardless of isk there is a logistical issue so please dont go we have ISK .... and from a outside perspective, it seemd like a slugfeast with little or no tactics, i miss a nice battle report. and Go B0B!  |

Well honestly, I don't know what people expected. Looking at KIA losses, they came with RR blob  Either they tought NC will outblob GBC or that there won't be any GBC and they would go for poses(BS with no dmg mods & stuff). Lol it just seems crzy to me that the NC outnumbered GBC and yet they killed like 2 GBC ships and that was it.
Dunno if its down to seriuos incomptience of the NC FC's. But it just seems crazy that a battle can be that 1 sided with those numbers

No complaints from NC the other day in M-o after the node crashed with thier carriers and fleet on the gate vrs our BS?
After the node crashed more NC were able to login and get control of the gate first. In the end we had to bail. Prior to that 15w and d7 :/

You seem to all be missing the point here ...
We as consumers are paying for a product that fails to deliver.
Some people have said "you know the risk" ... indeed we all know the risk ... does that excuse the fact that in these times of financial hardship we should accept parting with hard earned RL ISK for something that is obviously broken.
People who did not even attempt to log on have no case to answer ... because they obviously did not suffer the effects ... so had the entire NC collectively decided not to log on ... then it would of simply taken the handbrake off the steamroller with no right to respond.
This is something that the entire Eve community should show some solidarity on, because without that solidarity ... there will be no epic battles, there will be no Red Vs Blue ... is that the game you want??
GBC NAP Monkeys ... even you must see that a victory over an enemy who was crippled by the game itself is a hollow victory "Ha! look at me ... I beat a guy with no legs in the 100 metres" ... many of you state that the shoe was on the other foot in 15W a couple of days previous ... then you too have a right to your ships back, in my recollection the 15W downage was only a fraction as bad as last nights in M-O ... howver maybe that is just an NC perspective.
You can flame all you like, but at the end of the day, you are flaming against yourselves in the long run.

My previous post in this thread pretty much predicted the outcome. However, in response to this ^ post: Noone has any 'right' to their ships back. CCP have long ago made it quite clear that the server collapses under the amount of stress you guys regularly force on it. You keep doing so regardless of that fact, and when you lose your internet spaceships over it you should damned well not be getting anything back. You are the ones who are ruining the game for everyone with your super blobs. CCP are trying to keep up, but your ever increasing risk aversity makes you increase the size of your blobs every time. And don't tell me CCP made the game so that you need 400 man fleets in order to do anything. You can take down POSes with a fraction of that number. Tl;dr: Don't friggin whine about lag. You created the lag. When I play the game, it doesn't lag. You know why? Because I don't need 400 friends to fly next to me in order to fight someone. |

No one of us could reload/log back, and TS says "BoB has already sieged dreads on the gate, wtf, local is at 300, moooosly BoB"...
Then NC caps dreads logs in and die 1 after the other on a gate..Okay that's probably a mistake but...WTF bob loaded the system, we couldn't, that's really crazy to play eve this way.
Don't fool yourself, I don't say "Metagaming" blabla or anything...I just say, if we could have all logged in the system at the same time (BoB and NC), the fight would have been awesome instead of this piece of ****ty slaughter...I don't know if BoB members would have wanted a nice fight instead of this...well this is really too bad.
