I want to start running missions for some pirate NPC's out in 0.0 but I have a small problem. Pretty much all of them hate me so much that even with diplomacy 5, they still wouldn't give me a mission. So, is there any non-pirate corp out there that I could use to indirectly boost my standing with the pirate npc corps? I know interbus used to but I've heard that it no longer does that. |

Edited by: Mioelnir on 24/09/2008 00:04:46 Guristas -4.53: they will give you missions with high diplomacy skill Sansha -7.01: can be fixed with derived standings from Guristas storylines Blood Raiders -7.54: can be fixed with derived standings from Guristas stroylines Thukker Tribe -4.00: they will give you missions with hih diplomacy skill Angel Cartel -8.84: can be fixed with Thukker storylines Serpentis -6.61: can be fixed with Thukker storylines
Alot of bothersome footwork, but you aren't locked out yet at all. |

Interbus doesn't like pirates, and doesn't give faction standings anyways (no storyline agents).
Try the Thukkers or Syndicate, if neither of them like you, then run ORE until syndicate likes you, then Syndicate to raise Thukker/Serpentis/Angel.
If Guristas/Sanshas/Bloods are all too low to mission with, you're screwed and can't ever repair them. |

Ouch, well that wasn't what I was hoping for. Might never be able to do a sansha mission then without piggy backing on my miner alt. Pity there isn't a tier 2 diplomacy skill. |

Better question:how do you run local agents without the alliance that is claiming that area of space actively hunting you,as I'd imagine that they wouldn't react at all nicely to a neut hanging around anywhere there territory.. |

You can't share faction standing gains with another character. So "piggy backing" your miner alt will allow you to do the missions but not raise your faction standing. You will only rise corporation standing, not faction. |

Because it's NPC controlled space you cannot get locked out of stations. So with some smarts it's not hard. |

Then please come out to ORE space and show us how it's done. Most of the nuts we see are ether ninja ratting and cloak/log as soon as anyone enters the system or people trying to make BPO runs (those are nice when you got to pop them!). The hunt to a mission runner will be quite enjoyable. |

Funny thing, I was out running around Outer Ring doing ORE missions a few days ago, my dinky arbitrator got popped but only cause I got a storyline and had mine scordite. On regular missions I didn't have any trouble, even when some guy decided to bubble the station . |
