So I'm thinking the ability to transfer LP from one corp to another would be cool. Add in an exchange rate based on inter-corp relationship to deter abuse and create a bit of a LP sink. I figure the exchange would always be at a loss since none(?) of the inter-corp relationships are perfect. |

conversion rate should = LP * new corp's standings to original corp /10. So if you start with 10 lp, and the new corp has a standing of 5.0 with the old corp, you get 5 LP when you make the transfer... maybe divide by 20... regardless, unless they are EXTREMELY close, a corp would rather you work for them then another corp, and shouldn't reward you as highly... Oh and what about throwing in a loss of standings with the corp your transfering LP from, your basically saying thanks for the stuff, I like this other corp better! |

LP = Loyalty points Gets me wondering how you transfer loyalty from one corp to another? They should just strip you of all your LP for this idea. As it has proven that you certainly aren't loyal so those points aren't meant for you |

I'm personally against this idea why?
because I work for minmatar mining corp doing mining missions. This gives me access to some rare minmatar items that are not available from the more combat corps (uu* chips mostly). These items have a high value cause most mission runners can't get them, that is where a large amount of the profit of doing these unusual missions comes in. the moment everyone can drop them pilots who try doing anything other than combat missions for the combat corps get a rather large nerf. It gets even worse if you can trade out of faction and groups like SoE get screwed.
I will admit it has it's benefits but I prefer it the way it is... |

Standings and LP are both a numerical reflection of how well respected you are by a particular group.
Trading Standings (suggested before), or trading LP... is like switching your group of friends.
"Hi... I just moved to town. But I had a great group of friends back home, and they did all sorts of favors for me. So I want to just call you guys my friends now, and you can all do me favors instead?"
