The maps are focused to be clean and easy readable with the most important informations for fleet roaming and planning. They contain constantly updated sovereignity and outpost informations for your favorite 0.0 space. Also Occupancy informations for new factional warfare are included.

All maps (region/combined/special/factionwarfare) are available for free in the following formats:
  • PDF Document (for printing including belt/moon count and true security)
  • SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphics) for your real Browser (Firefox, Safari)
  • VML (Vector Markup Language) for Internet Explorer, which can't display SVG graphics
  • GIF Image for the Ex-Ingame Browser :-D
The website supports all new features from the new moondoggie ingame browser, including the "live data overlay" on the maps.

Additional Features

Arrow DOTLAN Evemaps

Examples:

You can find more maps on the DOTLAN EveMaps page. Rest removed, due to CCP's posting length limitation.

I would like to thank all my alliance and corp mates who already tested my maps, helped me and gave advices to me what they need and how to improve them.

That's spifftacular!

As a minor caveat - is it possible to put the map key on the PDF version, as well?

Hmmm the map key is on the PDF and GIF Version atm. I know that it's still missing on the SVG version but that's only a minor thing.

Just for your information the Outpost are very easy to identity
Yellow = Amarr Factory Outpost
Red = Minmatar Refinery
Green = Gallente Admin
Blue = Caldari Research

The station services on npc or conq. stations have the same colors as their outposts. (refining = red like the minmatar outpost, etc).

Blue circle = icebelt and the rest should be clear :-)

The system layout is different from Ombeys maps, so that is a little confusing at first. Otherwise a very nice resource. Any plans to have an archive/history function?

I didn't looked on the ombey maps while arranging my systems. I tried to clear most oft the systems jumps and sometimes tried to show up circles and travel routes.

I'll be thinking about an archiving function for sovereignity and occupancy data later. It should not be that problem. We'll see.

If somebody knows a better way how to arrange a specific region we could talk about it. I can still rearrange all systems using my administration frontend.

Excellent map

Isn't refinery "refinery" though?
Yours is "Refinary"

this is not intended as being negative, but I've reposted the main page text in a more grammatically correct english (I think).

"This page uses SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) to display the maps (supported by Firefox, Safari or IE with Adobe SVG Viewer). All maps are available as PDF Download (Print!) and GIF Image for the InGameBrowser. Sovereignty and occupancy data gets updated once every day, shortly after downtime.

Is it possible to increase a bit the font size ?

Great work! Two small suggestions:

1) It would be awesome if you could make out-of-region systems contain a link to the appropriate page in the PDF version. For instance, on the Tash-Murkon map, the Y-MPWL system should have a link to the Providence map.

2) I'm pretty sure that both Ombey's maps and Serenity Steele's Eve-maps list The Citadel as "Citadel, The" and alphabetize it along with the C's. You might want to do the same so that your maps are in the same order as the other famous Eve maps :)

It's a bit tricky. It would be easy to increase the fontsize on 0.0 maps because most of them don't have that much systems as the empire regions does and the system names are also a bit shorter due to their naming.

I'm thinking the fontsize is okay and most of the time i'm not using the maps on my computer... i prefer to print them and then take a look where to go. Otherwise it's easy to use the zoom or search functions in your pdf viewer.

I've done that allready in the SVG Maps which you can use in your browser (firefox). With the PDF Maps i've to think about it. Because normally i've 1 pdf file per region (expect the special all-in-one pdf file). There i should make a link to /pdf/regionname.pdf ... i've to think about it.

We'll see ... It's not a big issue right now :-)

Everything is already included.
The system with icebelts are marked with the blue rounded rectangle around the system.

Only the PDF Version contains the true security level (left side in the system box) and the Number of moons and belts are below the system in a very low font-size. I've already thought about the moons/belts before, but i won't lose the clean view of the systems connection with too much information. My focus is to keep a clear view on what's the most important thing (routing) and add as much info as possible without loosing too much space.

Very nicely done. Besides some grammar changes, the only thing I can suggest is putting the key on the maps.

Map Keys are already included on the PDF and GIF Maps. I'll work on the map keys for the SVG maps also.

Fixed. It was still European timezone. I just fixed it, and it should now show the GMT Timestamp of the last sov update.

The update is scheduled every day at 15 o'clock european time (atm 13 o'clock gmt) It should be good enought to give ccp enough time to start their cluster after the downtime at 12.
