The 'hacking' (or service denial attack) took place just as RK/Smash fleet warped into a huge furball of a fight with the Goons... as in Goonswarm.

I hate to speak form a knowledgable stance but its actually called a Denial of Service attack or DOS attack, and this comes from flooding a server with random bits of data NOT form logging in and out of a server 10 times.

But did goonies resort to BoBesk tactics to further promote their own method of victory? Probably. Which makes me laugh seeing as their stance on why BoB was evil for doing metagaming just like this...

I personally see the swarm as the same as BoB (I think most of the community do now) just not as clever or skilled. Its a shame such small men need to do such things to achieve "victory" in a video game, and not by skill alone. In the end its a game, if you need to cheat to win then its not a win...its a cheat and I would rather lose honorably then win because I cheated.

Simple script is all it takes to auto ban bots trying to flood a server. Why would you make the effort to ban ips like that when the server could do it for you O.o

Really, a DoS is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Through what ever means that is executed its still a DoS. People sending Random bits of data stopped being effective around windows 98 era, Now days its specifically crafted data or actions that cause the servers in question to react in a way that limits their normal operation.

Not saying anything beyond that I really don't think you know much about the topic which you spoke from a knowledgeable stance.

It appears to me that the OP is not the admin of the TS in question. If he was he should be able to get logs to underpin his claims.
Obviously posting the actual IPs could get you in trouble, but it shouldn't be a big problem to sencor that info from the logs.

I don't know why this keeps coming up, they were on there, there was no DOS attack but they were on there in droves. It was a bit of fun in the end to send out false reports to watch them warp to one gate or another in BWF.

The goon that said we had to many SA, this is correct and caused a spy to create a complete new admin account which then opened the gates.

As for proof, no I don't have that but I removed several of them myself.......not proof but I was there.
