Not sure if it is spyware just trying to flog me stuff i'm intrested in but all of a sudden a huge majority of sites I have visited have eve related adverts, even the few times a friend has sent me to a warcraft fan site. I never hardly saw a single advert for eve but all of a sudden the vast majority of banners I am seeing are advertising the Emperyan(sp?) age. Got nothing against it, quite like the eye candy from seeing the trinity graphics being played in banners rather than the usual crap  Just was wondering if ccp are stepping up their ad campaign. Anyone else see a large amount of eve adverts? |

the last few months CCP has knocked advertising up to the max. Those Ads are everywhere now. |

I have seen a lot of advertising lately. That's probably why we're getting so many WOW players whining in the forums.
Even on the client. It's getting annoying now. 'This screen will only appear once' but they mean once per new advert. The adverts are so frequent lately that it's almost every time you log in.

have you seen this months zero pucnuation? it has the eve trailer at the end. so if that's skyware than that's awesome :P |

search enginges like google record what you search for, what key terms and the theme of the webpage you went through them to see, then they feed that data to GoogleAds which is specific to your computer and IP so whenever you see GoogleAds, its advertising things related to your observed interests |

I prefer not to use google. I don't like companies who try to standardise everything. People are so afraid their webpage won't be found by google that they remove anything worthwhile on it to conform to the standards google set out. The end result is that some information that you might look for won't be found because google don't like the layout of the page and don't like forwarding links etc.
