Despite the ridiculous amount of smack and trolling and general idiocy that has frequented these boards for the past week or so, miles more than normal :( we still need to know about whats what with BoB n Max and the NC.
Anyone wanna give regular updates? |

The usual lag monstor is making both sides suffer casualties, but ofcourse with defenders always having the upper hand, it may seem that the NC are winning. But how long are they dedicated to this for?...
Time only will tell...
All it takes for a Cyno Jammer to go down and the flood gates open.

NC are doing well in Cynojammed systems. Nothing wrong with that, and both sides have plenty of time to force results.
We are doing very well in the sov game so far, a lot of hostiles sov is being dropped in the MAX area, either due to removing their pos's or finding their pos's blown up or a combination therein. Very litte has went to defend hostile pos's, but that is perfectly understandable given the sheer number of gbc dreads.
Both sides have chest beating options available, since one person can argue ship loss and the other can argue carnage in territory war. Just like most 0.0 wars, it takes a few weeks to judge which side is steamrolling who. |

they have quite a few titans but i didnt see them all used. seems some are personals.

BOB attempts on jammed systems seemed to have stopped, at least for now.
I'm not even aware of bob taking out any towers.
It's a stalemate. BoB cant break the gate camps on jammed systems. The North doesn't bother commiting caps outside of jammed systems.
So that's the situation.
However. What's with Bob's "ZOMG WE GOTS CAPITULZ" circlejerk? "Sheer amount of dread" and "Open the flood gates"... |

not been active since weekend, not even managed to load a grid up yet when a fights been going on, but after the logistics and the initial toe to toe where lots of cobwebs were cleared out, it's settled down into something a little more normal, counter war-decs from the northern chaps to keep empire busy which also allows the dissolution to an extent of 0.0 choke points,
The smack on caod is nothing to be surprised about, theres a clear difference in mentality between the power blocks and a lot of people get hot under the collar, hence why people who want to provide content to the player created event that "MAX" is steer clear of CAOD for the large part. Question is, when are you bringing your boys & girls in for a bit of a free for all Eddz? :) |

Nc's on the defencive, its only natural that they defend in the places that they think its important. As for that large GBC-cap fleet: It takes time for the NC to match that, as the NC has alot more space their caps are scattered, and need to be brought under the NC's flag. All your actions so far have done is played your hand, and gave the NC time to get ready for the next battle. With every passing day more and more NC caps are beeing transfered to deklein and surounding area's. Naps are beeing made just to combat you again, and soon you'll be in the same predicement you where in since the start of this year, but this time your fleet isn't home defending those important cyno-jammers in delve, this time your caps are playing with the NC.. Its only a matter of time before your enemy's realise this, and you made so many during the past years, if they all band together again, who knows, maybe this time they will dine in NOL. Only time can tell.. |

The BoB gangs have taken out POS around x-7o (Pure Blind), close to 20 ?, mostly from RA. Not really that special, but it's more interesting to note that there has been no support from the northern coalition so far to save these POS. When BoB arrived in the area (Pure Blind), IRON went into panic mode and started camping VFK ? (Deklein) 23/7. They have not left the cynojammed systems, which can be smart. BoB, eager to get fights, were willing to engage much stronger positions. If BoB wanted to properly invade Deklein why would they not attack systems further away instead of the systems they're defending? Because it's just to get or provoke fights. Although prefer to see a good K/D ratio! |

its kinda simple really
-bob raced to inflict max damage
-hit couple of fringe systems
-NC moved in to support
-lag battles, lots of pets died to good defence
-longer bob leaves it the bigger the defences grow.
bob needs to develop new tactics than steamrolling this time, as the same mechanics that let them hold delve are now working against them. Hitting multiple fronts might help them move beyond ccp, but right now the element of suprise has gone, and stale mate is inforce.
its up to bob to make the next move, the NC are defending their systems effectively, and are controlling the fight. tbh, bob has gone north for fights so they have to make the fights happen, not sit there waiting for some nub green fc to jump in the NC capitals into the bob cap blob. I mean they could just wait and wait and wait for NC to get bored enough to do this! If bob can't do anything about it, they will go home red faced. I look forward to their next move.
at the moment, i see this....
NC set up blockade, then bob sits and waits for nc to advance on bob.... its like invading a fort, going right up to the front doors that are shut and supported, getting resistance when trying to get in, so stamping feet and sitting on the door step untill NC sends out the yellow smarty, while everyone else goes about their business using all the other routes/exits around, rotating camps and keeping numbers high enough for bob to not advance. |
