Never heard of it - whats it aboot?
Sarah Jane was an old old OLD companion of the Doctor (1970's or so, I think) who has recurred a lot. Now has her own spin off as an investigative journalist cu m anti-alien hero, in the usual Doctor Who sense. Aimed at youngsters, I think. EDIT: The word "cum" is censored why? Latin much? EDIT2: But not censored at all when in quote marks...God I love our language filter... |

Edited by: annoing on 29/06/2008 18:53:24 The SJM is a childrens show shown on the BBC's CBBC. 'Sarah-Jane' was returned for an episiode in DW (at the behest of Russel Davies who was long time fan of hers and she is highly regarded as the most favourite 'companion' of all time). From that Russel Davies produced a show, aimed squarely at kids, especially for her. The 'son' is artificially grown life-form by a drinks company (long story) bent on world domination. K9 is also in the programme (reportidly keeping a blackhole at bay) and the supercomputer is another alien intelligence.
The actress (Elizabeth Sladen) who plays Sarah-Jane gave an interview on the Dr Who website where she "Previews The Stolen Earth and Journey's End; Elisabeth Sladen revealing all about her encounters with Davros - and why Journey's End could be her last ever meeting with the Doctor."
Dont miss the next episode, its 65 mins long!
My own theory is this ..... The bug from Donnas back gave her an alternate reality and I think shes still in one. Reasons being: At the end of 'Turn Left' when the Doctor ran from the building EVERY sign, banner, advertisment etc was 'Bad Wolf'. This was not the issue at the start of the episode. The women in The Stolen Earth knew about the creature on her back. The Doctor and the women both said (at different times) that she was special, the most special person in history and universe. This suggests, to me, that she is still in an 'alternate reality'. I think Donna will die at the end of the final episode but thats just wishful thinking as Tate brings her creation Lauren "am I bothered" to every episode with her acting. I liked Rose.
As for my theory, if i'm wrong I dont care, i'm just looking forward (as are my kids) to the final episode. Bring it on!
EDIT: Just saw the trailer for the next episode and Davros wants to "destroy reality itself". Which makes me think ..... exactly the same tbh.

hmmmm....as long as it's not a re-work of Elysarian's 'one-second pocket in time' theory, in that Donna dies saving the Universe, the plot is thwarted, the pocket disappears and normal time-stream resumes and everybody who dies comes back to life in a crappy 'Hey, it was all a dream' moment |

Agreed, though I'm warming to her as she's infintely better than Freema Agyeman in my opinion who just can't act I cringe at most of her lines, along with most of the Torchwood cast due to bad acting. Example - after the clip of The Paul O'Grady Show there was a horrendous false braying by someone at Torchwood Quote: it sucks if Tennent leaves, hes an awesome Doctor.

Ya kinda all missed the obvious suggestion, Donna is a timelord/lady just doesn't know it. I'll let you muse on that before I point out the points where its hinted at in the series. |

Yes but that was before dalek caan ("KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!") went screwing with the time war bringing davros back, also never read to much into episode titles. Caan messing with the time war is kinda all bets are off senario outcome of the timewar might totally change etc etc. Unlikely thats gonna happen but just to give ya the idea how the timey whimey stuff can change things. |

oh my god how many of you have missed the major plot points in that episode.....heres some to get your brain stewing until saturday... A. During the scene at the shadow proclamition donna is setted on the stairs and you hear her heartbeat (anyone notice some odd...yep she has a double heart beat...who else has two hearts....) B. Look at the compainon names ROse MArtha donNA what do the caps spell out???? is donna something new like she is told she is...and we know that they like anagrams what with kylies character called ASTRID which is an anagram of Tardis. C. Look at the hand, look at the hand the only part of the doctor that was not affected by the extermination! D. Why do we hear the masters theme, the sound of drums, it sounds like a phone ringing but I ain't so sure.... and as for who dies??? Anyone seen the trailer on the bbc doctor who sight yet, but the most faithful compainon of the doctor is not rose, sarah jane, jack or donna, it is the TARDIS itself, and in the trailer the TARDIS is looking in a bad way, remember the TARDIS has at it's heart a living soul... Roll on next week's EXTENDED 65 minutes long episode!!!!!! |

Rookie mistake- Time Lords aren't just a species, they're like a special order. The Time Lords are Gallifrayans (from the planet Gallifray), but there are also Gallifrayans who aren't Time Lords. His daughter would be a Gallifrayan, but not by any necessity a Time Lord. And then theres The Master, who is a Time Lord and has survived the Time War. And theres the Daleks, who were supposed to be wiped out in the Time War along with the Time Lords, but still crop up with alarming regularity. Basically, the whole "only survivor from the Time War" thing just isn't that important. |

It wouldn't surprise me if the Gallifreyans just before the Doctor wiped them out sent the majority of the population to earth and chameleon arched them to forget they were aliens or even time lords. |

Gallifrey....Gallifreyans......oh....I'm sorry I wouldn't usually point these things out....I hate myself right now
Yes yes, I watch not read, so spellings are somewhat arbitrary for me

Well who knows whats happened now, what with Dalek Caan changing what happened in the time war, more timelords could be alive now and it does mean more Dalek's can be around unless at the end of the next episode the Dr does something to alter what Dalek Caan did. |

Well the lock is broken now, Caan "ffffflllleeeewwwww" in and grabbed Davros thus finding a way inside the time lock....if a dalek can do (albeit he lost his mind) then the Doctor can....I would imagine the 3 tv movies are gonna be about the timewar, and yes oh yes am i excited as we might just see how Paul McGanns Doctor dies....as rumor is abound that he regenerated in the time war....
