really good idea for web drones.

While on the subject of EW drones find a way to reduce ecm drone effectiveness with other ew drones (ie inforce somkind of stacking for ecm drones that doesnt do them a favour)

So ships with a 100-125m3 drone bay get, basically, a minimum 25km range web that also chases people around?

Intriguing, and something I would definitely consider using on my Armageddon, since I've no t2 Ogres.

..A 25km web that gives -60% speed (with 5 heavies), minus 40% (5 meds) or minus 30% (5 lights) and that can be two-volleyed by any decent other nano ship or chewn in seconds by their on drones. Not overpowered, i'd say, hence the range buff would be the only way to make them even remotely useful.

Introducing the new SPIDER DRONE!

Unlike other webber drones on the market today, these drones take advantage of special Jovian tech that was stolen and reproduced by smurfs near the fall of EveGate!

Unlike other drones, more IS better. And how!
By adding one light spider drone you decrease surrounding ships speeds by 5%, med by 10% and heavy by 15% within 5km. The addition of one more spider drone of the same series increases this "web" effect to 10km radius and speed reductions of 10,20 and 30% are seen. Adding another of our special spider drones with SMURF STOLEN TECHNOLOGY will increase this to a range of 20 and produce a reduction in speed for all craft (of the appropriote propulsion system) to 20, 40 and 60% reductions. An addition of a forth might Spider Drone will bring your range out ot 30km in all directions and give a reduction of speed equivilant to 40, 60 and 80%! Amazing!
Deploying the fifth amazing spider drone will produce a final reduction in speed to 60, 80 and (in the case of the large models ) 100%! That means everything in the 40km range of the approprote propulsion type is effectivly stopped!
