As the topic reads - how many active accounts have Eve atm?

And how many accounts have been sold since 2003??

Any ideas?

Well, there were 222,422 eligible voters in the CSM elections according to the dev blog, so I imagine that the total number of active accounts is a bit over that.

Lets not forgot that many people have a ton of other accounts. So if CCP says they have say 400k subs. In reality there are probably only 100k RL people playing. This is my impression with all these people with Alt's etc.

I don't think it's anything like that. The actual amount of people with multiple accounts is, as far as I can remember, a very small minority compared to the single account people.

The problem is that it seems that the more accounts you have the worse of a poster you are. See also: I AM GOING TO CANCEL <ACCOUNTS> BECAUSE OF <THIS>.

It's true. I mean, I have two accounts and I'm a terrible poster. Imagine if I had more! Embarassed

Actually, it's exactly that (ignoring changes since that figure was published). A press release I just got said the total is "over 220,000".

I have 3 accounts, but only voted with one. I didn't feel like it would have been "fair" to leverage my alts in an election.

Well, you could do it this way...

"One"

Why not everyone else did.

Because I don't control other people's actions. I made up what was "right" in my mind, and did it.

If you're asking about my reasoning: it's because I'm no more important than any of my friends who only have one account.
