I was looking at projectile turret ammunition and put together some comparison plots with hybrid and laser ammunition. I cleaned them up, added some text and put together a web page. I thought other people might find this helpful. The plots show damage amount and type, capacitor use (laser/hybrid) or ammo size (projectile) and range bonus/penalty. I also added some additional information about T2 ammo.

Corrections or suggestions for additions are welcome.

(edit 4/1/2008 to add turrets)
Based on a comment below, I've added a page about turrets. I'm not completely happy with the presentation. Especially the color scheme.

Nice analysis - most people who've been playing for a while already know this, but its nice on the eyes when one forgets or to help new people learn specifics about the weapons.

Also, when you made the graphs, what size ammo did you use? Or did you factor everything propotionally?

I ask because medium ammo does twice the damage as small, and large does twice the damage as medium. I'm not entirely sure if size factors up on the same level, but the amount a turret can hold doesn't change.

That's very kind of you to put that work online.

nice work! I have to say i think i would have prefered it if the damage showed as DPS, so you could cross reference the weapons this way.

Nice, however there is a mistake. On the laser graph you show Aurora using the same cap as Conflag, when in fact Aurora has no cap modifier to Conflag's 1.25x.

Good catch, thanks. I have it right in the table, but must have made and assumption when making the plot. I'll update that plot.

I used small ammo for all plots. Even though the medium and large do more damage, the ratios are still the same, so the plot would look similar. I mentioned in the long, boring text that I used small ammo.

I'll run medium and large anyway, to see what they look like and add them if there is anything interesting.

DPS would be nice, but there are so many factors that it would be hard to represent in one graph. I suppose I could compare T1 turrets with no skills or bonuses. I'll see if I can come up with anything meaningful, but still fairly simple. If so, I'll add it or link to it.
