It never ceases to amaze me how "creative" people are that are consumers, rather than creators!
Here we have a game where the company creating is strives consistently to meet it's customer's suggestions, and whims; but THOSE SAME customers find major room to complain about the side effects of trying to achieve such a noble ideal.
Hopefully most of you are perhaps ignorant of what it takes to succeed at such an undertaking, and just "don't get it" in that writing a letter to your mother is NOTHING like writing the code necessary to first produce such a game as this, but is geometrically MORE difficult to alter WHERE everything is as it was with respect to the existing and developing characters.
All I am saying is be a little more realistic in your expectations, and much more appreciative of what you have an opportunity to participate in. Yes, you SHOULD expect value for your money, but by virtue of the fact that you are so angry about not being able to play at any given moment is PROOF of the FACT that you do!
Programmers are people too, make mistakes, and err in their estimates of how things will go once the code is compiled and executed. THIS IS THE WAY THAT IT IS!
My hat is off to the development team of this AWESOME GAME, and only feel a need to say: Thanks you for the downtime, I need to take care of some business in the "real world".

dammit ccp are dumb  we dont expect them to be perfect, but they need to realize if they keep breaking things more often than they fix them them people WILL start leaving eve in numbers. do they believe it wont happen to them or something? |

returning to classic graphics = ur FPS returns. sure i *could* run premium graphics on my desktop but @ a max of 15fps undocked it isnt playable. by returning to classic graphics my FPS flys way up... |

When you tab, it spazzes the OS swapping gigs of data to disk and back.
Not that I'm saying your issue isn't real and shouldn't be fixed, just EVE eats up a lot of resources and its always going to be pretty nasty tabbing around.
tabbing is evil, play in window mode like I do and have no fps issues

I dont mind the downtime, but I mind when other people mess with my schedule and have no respect for my time. That said maybe they are having real problems with hardware, network or whatever but its just so predictable... |

Well, it is back up (yay!) but I just noticed something that I hadn't checked yesterday but is clearly wrong.
On the skillsheet there is now a right-click option to buy a skill or add it to the market quickbar. Very sensible idea and really useful ... *except* ... it only appears on skills you are already training (and hence have already bought!) and not on the skills you haven't where, clearly, it would be of actual use!
Any possibility of either switching it over or making it available on all entries?

Unprofesional. Disapointed. Time is money.Value of our time isnt calclulated by the proportion of EVE time playing cost.
Its calculated by the opportunity cost. What we could made or how much we coould earn in time that we planned to play Eve.
Its only a game, but we pay for it (its easy to calucalate total monthly revenue).
I expect some kind of compensation to all Eve players. Prolongnig accounts is not nececary at all, cause that would be ridicliously low compensation for this frustration.
We demand responslibilty and some CCP heads on plate or at least one.

API seems to be working in part, however my displayed characters skills are heavily incorrect, and it has amended the training plan to suit.
By heavily incorrect, I mean I only have SP's in the skill I am training, nothing else, so I'm displaying 350k SP's in evemon on a 10m SP char. |

Just tried downloading Transactions and Jornal from My Character. Jornal DL'ed fine but was for 1000 entries between 28/02 and 03/03. When tring to DL Transations Log I got a fatal error, luckily it wasn't fatal to my PC (or Boot.ini ) |
