Do you have any idea what the recruiters in game were saying to those in channel so that they would join corps in your alliance? It was standard to be told you were not in a war and lived in safe easy to farm space. The result is that you Alliance got filled with pilots not wanting to PvP but rather to just get easy access to rats and minerals that did not exist in Empire.
Also, you need to get it straight that Goons are a part of the RSF and that the other Alliances UNL TCF RA GOON are all independent and maintian their own SOV.
It was already been mentioned in this thread that the key reason of escalation by AAA from raiding to invasion was due to how your diplomates handled the situation.

Bob have only been deffending there space solo (they still have some allies) for a month or two. 2. Before this the BOB allies were under sustained attack and tbh put up more of a fight (grtz fix and Co.) 3. Most of what Bob have achieved (killing D2, removing RzR from Tenal, attacking IAC) was done mainly by MC & Co. 4. It takes along time to clear 3 regions of POS especially when most are packed with stront, fitted with Cyno Jammers and it also takes 7 days for sov to flip. But hey BOB are great and it takes the whole of eve to kill them....  |

Hmm, and how long did it take MC to kill D2 and wipe them out of existance? And how much did Razor help there? It took only a few hundred dedicated people to kill the mighty D2 (plus allies). MM and Razor couldn't or didn't want to stop MC killing D2, not to mention Iron who fled to drone regions before any bigger fights and disbanded their allies. I wonder how long Razor would have stood and how fast they would have crumbled under the assault of 3/4 eve now. You can say what you want, but I think BoB is doing a great job. Sure they are loosing, everything else would be somehow strange. But think what you and your alliance would do under such circumstances. Would you still fight? Would you have disbanded? Would you have retreated to try to defend the core against all hope? So before yelling how sh*** BoB is, look at the facts. And facts is that not a single alliance can beat BoB at the moment. Actually even the big RSF can't, that's why they need not only the whole north (except TRI) but additionally MC also. LOL |

What BOB have been doing is running from fights abandoning systems and only fighting when they have (a) at least 50% odds. Preferably with carriers (b) Cynojammers. Once they go down they flee. (c) They are sitting 150km off gates with a massive sniping bs blob. Preferably with carriers. (d) the other side is obviously lagged out and cannot shoot back I will admit they are successfully defending systems that are not coming under attack yet because one side is working to a schedule. Every other situation they absaloutly will not fight. But they are really successful in losing regions. |

I was hoping for some Good Fights in Delve, but right now we are killing some towers in J-LP, one of the station systems in a sov 4 constellation, and there isn't a single hostile in local out of less than 70 people.
And the cynoja^H^H^H^H^H Good-fights-generator is online, even.

Tho i agree with some things said in the OP, it's just to funny to see a KOS member talking trash about Goonswarm, when not so long ago KOS were one of those alliances that jumped on the bandwagon to attack BoB.
Now it would seem to me that because Goonswarm didnt step in and help KOS when AAA attacked them, certain members suddenly feel the need to talk trash about Goonswarm.
Now i wont go into my thoughts on this whole NAP train against BoB, but please, dont come crying on CAOD just because -A- took away your toys, and then turn around and have the cheek to point fingers at goonswarm, RA, TCF etc and accuse them of backstabbing and needing most of eve to take down BoB, when your own alliance was happy to be part of it when it suited them. |

well when bob loses delve they wont die. the coalitions egos will start a new war pretty soon after and it will last for a while all the time bob retakes its space and settles old debts. its the same as every war before and every war after. only diff is the smack this time is the worse ever. But yah im sure tyrax you have sacks coalition blue cause you can take us alone or is it because if you fought us now you wouldnt even have catch. im not blind to the future and i know we all have grudges to settle. Major diff is while the grudges are being settled bob will take back what they lost and more. |
