When the agent gives you a job and the agent is Level 3 than you have a chance on an Implant. |

I managed to get Implant rewards from a Lvl 3, Qual 3 agent; effective quality is 27 though.
You'll only get implants (at least when flying for Caldari Navy) for:
Important Courier missions
Usually i have to haul some 400m3 of data sheets around.

State & Region Bank (Caldari) also uses important courier missions for giving out implants (memory :D ).
but i already had to kill a 85k pirate too, to get one. |

To get important missions, of which implants are one type, you need to do quite a few missions (about 20) without refusing or failing many, as each mission you refuse cancels out two that you've done. |

it seems you need 7 basic standing to the agent before you get implant missions, i just hit it with one of my agents, and 2 important mission later i got 2 implants in stock. might be wrong, but if it isn't this way (since the latest patch) then its very big coincidense |

No I don't think that is correct - I recieved my first implant before I had much of a standing at all with the corp (Carthum) or the agent... I think there is an element of luck obviously but the choice of corporation and the department itself has a large bearing on this I believe... so taht some departments of some corps will start giving implants much much quicker than others. |

A corp mate of mine recieved an implant for his second lvl 3 mission. Only had a standing of 3.15 or thereabouts. So to a certain extent, it's open to sheer luck too. |

Yeah, I got my first implant on about my fifth mission with an agent. I think my standing was low 3s, and the effective quality was only about -13 or so.
Has anyone gotten an implant on anything *other* than a courier mission? I ask because I've been doing mining missions for one corp (easy to do a lot in a hurry) but have yet to get an implant on an important (after 4-5 or so). If it's because they usually only show up as courier missions, I'll definitely switch to an agent more likely to give those missions.

A week ago I was getting implants both memory and perception from the two different corps i was running missions for every 3rd or 4th important mission. This last week I have done nearly 30 important missions but no implant ones. That is not randomness which is ingame that is down to it being changed!  |

All of this happend recently now i recieved a 3rd implant, out of a total of 5 important mission after i reached 7 standing wtih agent, the 2 non implant important missionw where mining missions |

Implants have nothing to do with your standing with the corp or the agent, I decided recently to do a mission for a corp i hadn't done any missions for before, 0.0 standign with the corp and agent.
I got an Int implant in my second mission. |

As of about 3 days ago I recieved an implant with an agent standing of 2.12 and a corp standing of less than that. |

After doing 200 missions for state and region bank i have recieved the sum total of 1 implant about 170 missions ago. Ive had 2 failures in that time both due to server failures or a bug. I consider myself very unlucky verging on the colossal |
