So I got a trial account after wanting to try an MMO, EVE seemed a good place to start. Anyway, having played the game for 3 days I liked it so much i decided to get a full account!

So I have paid the subscription fees etc and after 2 days I still can't access certain ships, skills, items etc as it says I still have a trial account!

Was just wondering if I had to wait for the 2 week trial period to run out before the subscription kicked in or if I did have a problem with the account, would be grateful for any input you could give me, either here or ingame. My character name is Brego Tralowski.

Thanks in advance.

Other than this little prob Eve is a great game and is slowly taking over my free-time! Wink

Buy the skill and train it. Then you can get into the ship.

glad to hear your enjoying the game!

the guy above fails to understand, you mean actully tells you that you are a trail account?

maybe you have to wait 2 weeks?

lets try to make this simpler.
what skill are you trying to use?

The description for those skills will not change.

They will always say that they cannot be trained on trial accounts.

If you have paid for you account you will be able to train those skills.

I'm guessing Brego is clicking train on the skill and it tells him 'no, you can't, you are a trial account'...

Maybe the billing system is late updating your account, depends how you paid.
Check your account information to see if the paiment was received.

If you can't train the skill you want, I would advice to train all the skills in the learnign category, those for intelligence and memory first and then the other. You should get 4 in the basic ones (those with 'rank 1') and then train the advanced (those with 'rank 3') to level 4, but they cost 4,5M isk each, you'd better find some activity for some good isk. Without those skills, everything trains quite slowly...
As it's still a bit long to train those, you may stop the advanced ones at level 3 and get back later on those skills to level 4 when you fly a ship properly.

Wait at least one full day then try it again. I remember another newbie posting about the same thing - paying for the account but being unable to train skills that trials are not allowed to train so it is as if he's still on trial. It just might take some time to update (which is why i said wait a day) but if you still cannot do it after several days then yes, this would indicate that it is as if you're still on trial.

Thanks for the quick responses guys!

I have had my full account for 3 days and it still says cant train on a trial account, although the skills I want to train on say 'you have reach the requirrements to train this skill'!

I have contact the customer support to see what they say, is that right from what I gather you buy the skill then train it?

I have a lot to learn and its thanks to people like yourselves I am doing just that!

Thanks again for the input.
