I'm unable to locate my screenshots I'm using "CCP\EVE\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF" in my shortcut to Eve I found some old Screenshots in - C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\My Documents\EVE\capture\Screenshots which were labeled "2007.12.14.14.36.23" but I took some today and I cannot find them in that folder, or in any of my other eve folders. They switched from PNG to JPG / BMP a looong time ago... But yeah, if I recal correctly, even with the /LUA:OFF switch, screenshots should still be in that folder. |

Search > For Files Or Folders
Search for file or folders name: <LEAVE BLANK> Look in: Local Hard Drives
Search options: Tick "Date" then select "Files modified in the last 1 days".
Job done. |

I start with LUA on all my clients, and some clients save the screens (still in documents\ccp*) while others do not save any screenshots at all - so I think there is some sort of bug using LUA but I haven't been able to locate the cause yet. |

What I do is simply press the "Print Screen" button, ALT-tab, and then paste (CTRL-V) into Photoshop. If you don't have professional software, you can use MS Paint; alternatively, you can use Paint.NET, which is much better than MS Paint (and free/open-source). The advantage is that you get to see your screenshot right away, so you know if you need to re-take the picture or not. Also, you can save them wherever you want. Just a suggestion, not trying to tell you how to play your game. |

I'll take some screenshots today and try that. I fear this may be my problem too. |

OK an update.
One one of the clients that doesn't save running logServer on it gives me the following errors:
966 2008.01.11 17:10:44:564 3 : [Unknown] in trinity.TriSurface: HRES:D3DERR_INVALIDCALL(Invalid call)
967 2008.01.11 17:10:44:564 Failed to SaveSurfaceToFile C:\Documents and Settings\SamuelLJackson\My Documents/EVE/capture/Screenshots/2008.01.11.17.10.42.jpg
While tracing a client that does save, does not render any log entries at all. No idea what's going on. |

Update also. I ran the logserver (Thanks for the Idea Chribba) but no erros were shown when I took the screenshot So back to basics, I removed the /end /LUA:OFF from my shortcut, took a screenshot and it appeared in the C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\My Documents\EVE\capture\Screenshots folder. I then put the /end /LUA:OFF back into the shortcut and then tried to take another screenshot and it also has now appeared in the C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\My Documents\EVE\capture\Screenshots folder Not sure why it helped, but it's done the trick. |
