This is a friendly warning to all drone users in empire.
Summary: The "All Drones: Engage" shortcut can get you Concordokened without warning.
I have tested this on Sisi today. When you lock a target and press your assigned "All Drones: Engage" keyboard shortcut, your drones will attack the target whether it is a legal target and whether you have warnings enabled. This is a great way to accidentally get a Global Criminal Countdown while tractoring/salvaging in a fleet! However, right clicking the drones in space and clicking engage still gives a warning box.

I call BS. We all know that CCP doesn't make these sorts of sophomoric mistakes. You've obviously done something wrong, like undocking from a station. I suggest you search your logs. They'll show you the reason. |

Next he'll be claiming that drones don't always do exactly what you tell them to. HOW LONG MUST WE TOLERATE THIS PERFIDY FROM THE UNWASHED MASSES, CCP? |

Think positive! Guess its a good thing CCP doesn't design software for aircraft. |

I almost fell foul of this as well. Thought I had shield repairs drones out but were Ogre's. Luckly I noticed before they started firing |

Thanks for the warning. Not sure if you have already or not, but you may want to put a duplicate post in "Known Issues & Workarounds". |

It's been reported to the programmers, and will be looked at.
Bugreports are usually the fastest way to get us to look at things though, so it's always a good idea to make one :)

the point is there should be certain bugs the public should know about before it affects them though. there should be a more up to day issues with trinity page or something with a slightly higher profile. |

Well, could be they didn't know of this bug till today?? I'm sure they post any known bugs and workarounds, but sounds to me they didn't know of this bug. |

With the new fleet drone shortcuts (such as Guard and Assist) does this mean you can launch Heavy Armour Rep drones for example and rep a fleet member without having to lock them? |

I lost a Support Cruiser to this 2 days ago when running a Level 3 AE. I missed pulling in a shield maintenance bot and use my shortcut -- CONCORD was on top of my ass in 8 seconds flat. I had a little over 22m invested, and I got maybe 10M of it back. I recently created 2 groups for my support ships: Combat Drones and Logistics. I be sure before I send out ANY drones that I recall the entire group of logistics drones. Considering the new ship is worth about 54M now (upgraded to a Myrmidon *Permatank ftw*). The thing that ****ed me off is I didn't receive a "are you sure" confirmation. |

Hm.. I don't use drones that often so i had no idea that u can set a drone to a button now, so when u have a target selected and u click a certain button, drones engage? (instead of rightclicking drones and selecting attack)
Could prolly find it but could u tell me where i can find this or which button this is? thnx in advance |
