wtf does this mean? IF i kill a guy i have to wait 15-20 minutes till i receive the bounties? because of so your choice of words sucks. |

Yeah but I don't really feel like flying 40 jumps to where my carrier is so can I petiton this when and if the time comes or what. I guess this probobly won't be an issue if the ship is docked eh? |

Exactly. Concord became a bit lazy and is only making payments every 15-20 minutes. All NPC-kills within one system during this time are concentrated into one payment. |

This nerf is not thought through. PLEASE tell me why you didn´t increase the ship volume of haulers? This would bring the same result, but with much less bad consequences (like being unable to scoop an inty, which has loot in it´s cargohold). |

Yet another consequence that could have been easily avoided by doing away with this supremely moronic nerf, and simply increasing hauler volume. |

Carriers are not transports/freighters. You shouldn't be able to use the same ship for solo PvP, group PvP, PvE, AND transporting your goods. There shouldn't a single ship that does everything.
Solo PvP in a carrier is a freaking myth. It's time that was recognized. A single ewar ship can completely jam a carrier (I know I've done it a billion times) so that it can't rep other carriers, and it really doesn't take much to take one down. A 3m cruiser can render a 1.3b (before fittings) ship useless. I saw 6 taken down in a single encounter last week. By an entirely non-capital fleet. There were almost 2 moms killed as well, but the lag screwed with our dictors. Anyone who believes that carriers are pwnmobiles has never flown one. It's that simple. |

I don't really get the point of drone bandwidth.
IE: in my covetor, the bay is 50 m3. 5 drones, each 10 m3, and I can field 5. 'K.
So they are limiting ships to basically the SAME limit they have now? Whats the point of that? Unless they increase the bay size so you can use mining drones, then recall and toss out fighters, or recall your fighters and toss out repair drones. And to do that, you'd need a bigger bay anyways. |

As I've said before, blanket nerfs are not a good idea, and not well thought through. And yes, I'm using the Arazu as my example... deal with it.
An Arazu has two purposes. To Scout and Lock Down an Enemy for a gang. And to support a fleet with the same thing.
Without adjusting the bonuses on the Arazu, it's now a fairly useless ship for both of it's roles. I cannot lock down and pin an enemy and await for reinforcements, if he can target and smoke me in a few seconds.
RSD's are the life/death of Arazu's. This needs to be seriously reconsidered.
I admit freely that RSD's are overpowered in general, but ships made specifically to survive by their use, need to keep their current status quo. |

Ah, well the notes could have been a bit clearer. I thought there would be a delay of 15 minutes then all the bounties would be paid as they are now, and not as a lump-sum. |

Drone bandwidth is implemented to allow dedicated drone-boats (and others) to bring along reinforcement-wave drones, and at the same time limit them from fielding five heavies on a cruiser. Big dronebay in Rev = bigger drones, but still just 5. Big dronebay in Trin = Limited by bandwidth, thus still fielding med drones, but can bring a lot more, so if they go pop, launch another. Or bring several kinds of drones for different damagetypes etcetc. And about the ratting payout: Once you kill an NPC, a clock starts ticking. Every NPC you kill (belt rat or mission rat) during that time gets accumulated to one big payout. That payout will be payed if you jump system (unsure about that) or if you wait 25 minutes. You still get the same payout. This is to reduce database read/writes and increase performance overall. Imagine you kill 80 rats. That's 80 writes in the database, and 80 writes in your wallet. Now, imagine you kill those rats in less than 40 minutes. That's 2 writes in your wallet, and 2 to the database. Some increase in performance, hmm? |

Yes, but the transactions have to be stored somewhere before the credit to your wallet, question is where? |

The solarsystem node's memory propably, if they hope to decrease the amount of DB transactions with it. Changing the bounty payouts from single payout to blob payout, also means less data for the server to send to your client. |

what i dont understand is that ccp nerf the carier like this, when basicly 90% of eve dont feel like its needed... i know its there game and all, but ffs.. listening to the player base is always a good idea...
ya well lets see when it is renerfed... the next patch will prolly be that u can only launch 5 fighters. if that happends i know alot who leaves.. enough is enough really.. some people have trained for a LONG time under FALSE ideas... nerfing isent always good... and also with the new heavy dictor i wouldent pilot a mom in the first place... rather be in the dictor hehe... they ROCK. 1 dictor with 1 carier repping it while shoting at the mom... BYE motherships... was nice seing you.....
NOT good ccp... u ****ed up players who have trained for along time... im not happy... eye candy or not... it just aint all... |

Awesome stuff CCP, seriously. i doubt WOW would ever get something quite this big. especially love the heat improvements and drone bandwidth thing. they'll both increase tactical options, and really make you have to make decisions in battle. We are, after all, flying big Space ships, and ships are generally complicated. i dont understand the people who wont combat overly simplified, its just stupid. Oh, and distillers, seriously, thats like your boss saying "im tripling your pay, halfing your work day and promoting you from janitor to CEO and im giving you your unpaid vacation!" you:"IM NOT GETTING PAID FOR THE VACAION!!??" |
