I finally decide to call it a night and start to head back to my home system. When I jump in, a Cerberus is there to greet me. He tries to lock me, fails, and I warp to my favorite station. I scan when I get to the station and realize this big, mean HAC is giving chase. He'd never catch me, so I let him chase me around for a little bit, cloaking whenever he thought he had me then warping away. A fun bit of cat and mouse for me. I soon grow bored of this little game and decide to dock up to log. I recognise the comedy in this somewhat absurd scenario but I can't help but feel that the ops actions were unjustifiably dishonest - he may not have needed the cash to be sure but in an equal gesture of good faith, I would have returned the money and suggested he look for more a more obliging target. You can be sure that he's learned from your example and in future is likely to be far less accomodating to future targets. |

let me supply some background info here:
1) im having an amazing month. we got a goonie freighter that supplied me with enough isk to not have to worry about much for the next several months.
2) I was having a very boring night. I jsut got t2 heavies up and running and wanted to see if my new missile skills would help me shoot an interceptor or dictor or anything small and fast with some precision missiles.
3) I didnt even think i would kill lilem if i did catch him. i had a web, but no scram as i was jsut screwing around.
4) I had looked all nigth for somethign to shoot at. couldnt even talk corpies in to letting me shoot em.
5) I honestly thought i was making someone elses day better for a change. and was hoping he would be of teh same playful and humorus mind as myself. obviously i was wrong, and I knew that was a risk when i paid him 25 mil in the first place. i mean look he only asked for 12.5 mil and i gave him 25 mil obvioulsy i was playing around. and yes i haave the isk to play around with 25 mil liek that and no dont bother asking me for it unless u let me blow up your ship :)

That's sad even your corpies wouldn't let you shoot at them. That is some of the best training. It also allows corp mates to fine tune their setup. Now, I am glad to see even though you are popping freighters you tried to be an honest and trust worthy person. The next time you run across lillem you need to try and get your funds back. |
