Like many normal players, i am getting pretty sick of goonswarm players on the forums writing obvious spam. Like last weekend and before that.
Yet what is CCP doing about this group of people that refuse to play and simply want to ruin the game? They admit it flatly and admit it with each spam thread, so what is CCP doing about it? I pay for this game too i demand an answer or i think players should leave goonswarm and CCP alone to have each other.
Freedom to play a game is one thing, but when people are given freedom to slander a game company on other forums and then spam the crap out of the games forum... something needs to be done because it ruins it for normal players.
It's obvious this is not a normal alliance of normal corps, or normal gamers. Their mission is not in the game, their mission is to ruin the game. So do something about it CCP! |

Yawn, be a big boy and don't take it personaly. You may not liek Goon, but i'm fairly sure some people wont like you either.
If you don't like reading goon thread then stop, their not forcing you.

They keep doing it because of the attention they get. Stop giving it to them, and this should be over fairly soon. They will hopefully get bored with it. |

I'm fairly sure this will upset some people but here goes. Comparing Goons trolling the forums for an internet based spaceship game and kids thugs etc hangin outside shopping malls is a ******ed notion. You choose to come to the forums, you can close windows if you want to and CCP can (and has) issued bans to characters (goon AND others) to mis-use the ability to speak freely on these forums. I don't overly like the spam either, i (try to) use the forums to keep up with the various wars, politics and game mechanics changes. The fact remains that this isn't real life, you can walk away and try out real life once and a while. |

Recently a lot of posts have been moderated for spamming. And the mods said that doing it will earn those guys warnings and bans. I love it especially, if the mods are very strict against spamming one-liners that are just an attempt to derail and destroy a thread. So yes, I say, Valorem go ! Kill 'em all !  |

Why would society have to cave in to obnoxious, annoying, loudmouth ******s who have no respect for other's property or play/lifestyle while due to peer presure feel somewhat uber and speshul? It's like living near a footbal stadium and having your house wrecked every weekend due to the hooligans... "hey, you don't HAVE to live there!" The "this is just a game" thing doesn't fly, you're still dealing with people. There is a difference between being killed (this is a pvp game afterall) and being bombarded with utter annoying circlejerking crap. |

It's CCP's forums, it's CCP's to moderate. There is an official system in place to deal with those that spam indiscriminately. There was a lull during fanfest in moderation. And CAOD wasn't exactly a pristine paradise before. |

If CCP just enforced their own forum/tos/eula rules this entire thread would be a moot point. The OP has a fair point but it's not just Goons although they do a better job than most at irritating people while breaking the rules. |

thankyou, Raem, for replying to this one in a mature sensible, and measured manner. Exactly the response that I was hoping would come, instead of it being flamed nonstop in the worst possible manner. some of the goons have and do act atrociously on the forums. other players do too, it's not unique to goons in the slightest. for the original poster: lets put it this way. Conflict is what drives us forward, motivates and gives us an agenda. the Goons are something that cause friction... that friction creates conflict.... the conflict drives eve forward. They'll never "win" eve, just as bob will never win eve, or any one else. all they will do is keep churning up the sediment, distrubing the game's landscape enough to keep on causing conflict. and for that, I love the troublesome *******s  |

this^ there is a lot of aliances figthing goonies atm but BOB are idots and they dont want any help at all. Then again, all the other aliances can always forum upp on theyr own, in curse and great wildlands you have Cow/-v-/Interdiction++ they can do a lot of things if they just work together. |
