So the carrier will not be a hauler anymore, ok, get a jump freigher they say.
Did CCP think about all the small corps, even solo persons, having POS's around 0.0? Those that will have a damn hard time supplying their little domains?
So yeah, the large alliances can just escort freighters to their areas, but these small corps all around will have a damn hard time.

Too true, and that will affect availability of moon materials for the T2 market. |

Thank you for a very constructive contribution.
Point is that all people can get a tech II freighter, but they are gonna be expensive to start with.
dont mind him, he has started to flame most post with nothing... and i agree, ccp seems to favor bigger alliances with some of their changes.. atleast as far as ive seen the last few days, after coming back.. |

Edited by: Sarah McTeef on 14/11/2007 10:22:05 I think the idea is that CCP, and try and follow this leap of logic, are trying to make it harder to control 0.0
Maybe they are saying, 'hey you guy shouldn't be controlling so much space, lets make it a true pain in the arse' and '0.0 isn't for solo play'. Creating borders that are less dynamic and hopefully bounding smaller domains.
Just perhaps its not some kind of oversight. Naw. |

Here's a thought, if your main use for you carrier is logistics then why not sell it, with the fighters etc.
Use the isk to buy a rorqual, with some cargo rigs and cargo expanders and voila the cheap mans jump freighter, you get abtou 100-150km3 inside a rorqual post patch.
Problem solved? They are going to change carriers somehow so instead of complaining that your carrier logistic wise has been screwed adapt using another capital which they've buffed. |

Has it occurred to you that CCP fully intends to make it a pain in the ass for small corps? Maybe join an alliance that can support you, or merge with another corp. Failing that, you'll have to get your own jump freighter. (or the rorqual, as suggested) |

So what if corps with a memberbase of 1 isn't able to hold a POS in 0.0 anymore? 1 person alone isn't suppossed to hold a 0.0 POS alone, it's utterly stoopid!
Please stop complaining about the carriers won't be able to be the one man corp/small corp "supertanker" (tanker as in RL ship) anymore. If you are alone you, you shouldn't expect to be able to control your own space for longer periods of time.
And please start remembering that if CCP does this, they do it for their own reasons. If those reasons are to let more people to be able to take a trip out in 0.0, so be it. If it is to make the "oldfarts" sink more time in training for freighters, let it be so. Either you play or you don't. |
