Patch Notes are now available for review. There will be additional items added to the patch notes over the weekend and as some announcements are made at Fanfest. Please be a little patient before writing posts about the lack of certain recent promised features.

I realize it is later than I said the notes would be published, but there were some final items that needed to be checked in before they could go online. My apoligies for the 2.5 hr. delay.

We all realize you are required to be smoozing with the fans at Fanfest (drinking heavily is an important part of this) thus we will give you a pass... or at least I will... for now.

I am failing to understand how those few lines of "patch notes" could cause in any way the 3 hours extended downtime we'll have to experience?

I don't see anything about Cider in the patch notes, is Cider support still going to be included?

I sure hope the answer is yes, me and my Mac Pro with 2 x 24' monitors would love CCP for that! Very Happy

Absolutely!

A SMART person would realize that, like daddy's secretiveness the week before Christmas, you are preparing a present for us, and do not want to spoil the suprise!

I, and many others who you do not hear clamoring for more info, have learned patience.

Thank you, I am sure it will be great.

Yes, there were changes to carriers, which I assume is what you're referring to, and those forum threads were read and taken seriously.

I didn't see any mention of carrier changes in the patch notes, so still my beating heart, has the no-cargo-in-ships-inside-the-SMB change made it in this patch, yes or no?

Okay, I'm waiting to hear what goodies we'll get when you're done having fun at Fanfest. All I have to say is I hope the OSX client is in your bag of gifts there or I'm going to be miffed. I want to get rid of Windows ASAP, dual booting is a pain.

"but with drone improvements" see now you be pressing buttons now.

Do you people even take any notice of the forums and the multiple threads relating to the drone NERFS not improvements.
We haven't nerfed drones, at least not that I'm aware of. Yes, there were changes to carriers, which I assume is what you're referring to, and those forum threads were read and taken seriously.

What I was referring to was the drone UI improvements we made, the new commands, settings and shortcuts, increasing the scoop range and all the bugs in drone behaviour we fixed.

Various gallante drone boats getting ridiculous drones quotas, bandwidth whatever it is called, eos etc, no shield regen on scoop...some
peeps calling this an exploit ffs.

Eos is basically being decimated, myrmidon is fine with 5 ogres as all it takes is for them to die and the ship loses
a large chunk of its damage, really no need for a nerf.
My gripe is bothering to waste training time for gallente drone boats and then what amounts to stupid nerfs being applied to a range
of ships which are by no means invunerable.

The crap that was pulled in nerfing nos and not balancing the effects on a small fleet of ships which have bonus for nos.
Amarr recons for starters, its basically in peoples faces.
Your breaking dictors, the list does go on.
Why should people bother training for niche ships only to have all that time in training wasted.

I'm sure theres plenty of peeps out there a gnats **** length away from not bothering to renew subscriptions
because of unsound ships game changes, but hey hoo as long as the rest pay their subscriptions Arrow your wages
why should you be bothered.

Because the majority of the market still has PowerPC based Macs. I have no money to buy a new comp anyway. I'm in college.

Do we have to pay any extra fee to be able to play eve on Linux or Mac once the 2.3 patch hits? or is it just as simple as downloading the client, installing and start playing?
