Some corp members and I were mining in a .4, Thorax, Myrm, Carac, Proc, and an Iteron for hauling. We were foolish and not watching Local. Two Pirates, one in an Abaddon, and one in a Nighthawk warped in on us. Everyone but the Myrm mmade it out. I go and get my Rifter in that system and undock and sit there. One of the pirates ask where I was (everyone else had left local). I chat with the guy for a bit, when he warps to the station. He was flagged so the sentires attack him. Now I know he was expecting me to run, but I hit the ab and begin an orbit. I web and scram him and hope the sentries kil him. He had a few drones but I made short work of them. He couldn't hit me with the big guns. He sat and tanked the damage for a good five minutes when I finally saw, his armor was going down! My heart began to pound...Was I actually going to kill a two plus year player? Armor is half gone when I see his buddy in local. Long story short, I had a missle shower shortly after, and I got to see my pod go POOF for the first time.  |

Aww damn! Been in a situation like that once, but it ended up with the guy getting a massive hit on me, more or less onepopping my frig :( |

you lost the frig, and did not get the kill, but you know you had great fun, heart pounding thinking you might, just might get this kill...yes? Thats pvp in eve, close fights with the either way odds are what make pvp great in this game.
Congrats on giving it a go, and dont let that put ypu off trying next time! |

he said he was flagged, during your criminal aggression timer you aren't allowed to dock at npc stations, atleast in the one instance i tried it wouldn't let me anyways. |

Incorrect. You are allowed to dock during a global timer, but you aren't allowed to dock for a short period after aggressing someone. |

kudos for fighting that.
I lost an astarte in a similar way to a vexor pilot once, engaged him even though i had no cap or cap boosters left, assumed he would run or panic. Got scrambled, webbed, nossed and got to watch the sentries tear my command ship apart. The infuriating thing was the two volleys i did get off took him to about 15% structure just before my cap died completely. The most humiliating day of my eve career. So ya keep it up, you never know when you might win. |

hehe, hey lance. Its been a while since I've been so prominently featured in a thread. GF to you guys and all, way to go about it pretty much smack free. when falc and I busted your mining operation we warped directly in on another myrm. If he wasn't part of your group, then he must have been coming to pay you a visit as well I figured i had 1 volley with the abaddon before your transversal got too much. I was trying a different setup, but as you could see, not much luck with it. Good job on getting in a tight orbit and knocking off the drones. You catch someone like that in a belt or at a gate and they could be in trouble. As it was I turned off my repper in the hopes that it got your blood up (which it did evidently) so hopefully you wouldn't see the nighthawk undocking. Were you part of the fight at the gate? think we nailed a drake and 2 enyos from your corp along with a myrm from another local. Keep it up mate, and thanks for the fun. p.s. believe its 60 seconds after cessation of hostilities before you can dock again. |
