Its actually complicated but lets walk through.
Step 1. Smashkill takes part of Geminate and draws the wrath of Tze North. An attempt to take our station fails. After that Tze North just fight defensively and send gank squads. After a while they wanna fight BoB and we agree on mutual light blue.
Step 2. Smashkill has no targets north or south so goes east to get pvp. Of the people there Frege hates us most and thus gets most attention.
Step 3. An incident causes a reset between RA and Smashkill. RA friends Frege gets really hateful and post alot of crap.
Step 3. RA and Smashkill diplos sort the incident and blue standings again. Smashkill goes east to shoot stuff and ends up with stations. Drone land naps Smashkill except Frege and xxxDeathxxx so now there are Roadkill deathstar in Frege home system. |

We mine lots. But I hear that Smash are crap miners, but Roadkill are awesom. I also hear the not only can Scooter1 use a Hulk, he has the Exumer skill at lv 5 and Deep Core Mining 5. He loves that DEEP CORE MINING!  Anyhow, the reason we are attacking Frege is due to Frege being the far better miners than use and they were starting to steal our rocks, so we are doing this for the roids man. The roids. |

SMASHKILL aren't blue to xxDeathxx or Etheral Dawn, Intrepid Crossing, FREGE + a few of the minor players around. Last month there were only 3 alliances in the drone regions NOT attacking us. We went up north last week to help Razor/MM etc, and they north surrendered after just a few days (we hardly got to do anything :( ). The theory was that we were supposed to carebear it up but as it turns out we're not very good carebears.  I'm sure hoping Triumvirate and MDK etc will show up and then we will get better loot. FREGE may be all out of money to actually 'pay' them though this time. SMASHKILL DID go and help RA/Goon when they were taking Detorid, we got a knife in the back for it, so excuse us while we don't go doing that again. If BoB start pushing into Scalding Pass I'm sure we'll help out. The reality is we don't want to go after stations on the other side of the map, we get nothing there. |

I heard all you have to do to get Sov. of in the drone region is:
1. Get ok from alliances surrounding the drone regions.
2. build the station before you get Sov.3
3. Let Pure push you around.
4. Pure gets station
5. Set Pure to blue.
And that is how the drone regions work.

Its much more of a roid - laser - hauler affair. We dont pvp in the drone region, we go, and rat in their system, to annoy hostiles, then they come and do it in ours, and it goes back and forth.
It's a beautiful evolution really :) |

As opposed to your strategy of: 1. Abandon friends when they need you most. 2. Go to a new corp, but keep "friends" blue. 3. Gank said friends. 4. Do nothing of any significance. 5. I can confirm there is no pvp in the drone regions. There's lot of nano***ging, cloaking, ducking, and covering. Sometimes a gun goes off and everybody craps themselves, the negligent discharger apologises, tea is served, and we go back to the daily routine. |
