Hey guys, I've got 300m that I want to invest to make me money when I'm not playing Eve. Any suggestions? I don't mind high risk/high return ventures. But I don't want to have to manage it much, I find that side of it boring.
Also how would my options increase if I had say 1b+ to invest.
Cheers.

You can print about 5% per month if you buy ISSO shares. Then you can get FIN-U bonds, that are printing about 7% per month, but some people said this venture is being closed... http://resx.nfshost.com/http://eve.hubau.be/ |

If you don't mind high risk, I can suggest the following: 1) Send me 300mil 2) I'll send you back 600mil |

That's a poor deal. There are plenty of people in Jita offering 10 isk for every 1 isk sent. By all means find an IPO that you're willing to trust- there are plenty of more recent ones than those listed above that are unproven but offer higher returns. Ideally, find one that's secured with assets held by a third party, so if it's a scam you can get your money back. |

I could be on time if I only paid 5%. Hmm, actually I pay 5.6% (well, 1.4% per week through Fury Bank) and am usually early. Of course you're propping up sweet profits for Fury Holdings share-holders (who make 4%+ per week) but, even from an investor's perspective, you're better off than buying ISSO shares. Beats me why anyone other than an ISSO member would regard them as a good investment. |

ISSO return 5%+ (remember the admin fee) on 10x more ISK than you do. Until you start doing that, and have garnered the trust to do that, you really can't compare yourself to them.

send isk to Laura Faorun if you're interested, but plz make it quick i need to make some cash ebfore my account expires |

10x more? Guess you're only looking at one of Fury Bank/Fury Holdings. The latter of which returns 16%+ (30%+ gross profits before my salary). I suggest you look at the absolute amount I return to shareholders across both IPOs (and the amount managed) then work out what % I'd have to return on the difference between what I manage and what ISSO manages to match their overall performance. The results may surprise you - and they definitely don't flatter ISSO. |

Lets not get into an e-peen flexing contest, as I wouldn't want to embarrass other members of this community by revealing personal finances. No one can claim ISSO is returning very much, but they are very steady and safe. Plus you can get your money back whenever you want with their buyback program, so really they are a bit like a bank and pay out accordingly. If they ever start paying above 5% (won't happen for several months) they will become much more popular. |

I hate to break it to you if you don't follow EVE politics... but ISS is about to get kicked out of their space by the Redswarm Federation. Do you think ISS will continue to pay its dividends when it has no outposts, no members, no 0.0 operations of any kind left? |

You constantly alude to your wallet as if your entire ego resides in your space bank account. But you never disclose any direct figures. How much ISK do you have? |

Seems a bit contradictory to say that my entire ego resides in my bank account, then also say I never say how much I have. Obviously if my ego was so tied to my bank account I'd post how much I had in it, as it would indeed be quite a boost. If you are so interested in how much I have then you'll have to wait. I have been mulling launching my own IPO... and as part of it I would reveal a very extensive amount of information for investors to help them decide if I would be worthy of their investment. Tho I do not know if I will tell exactly how much I have as people would probably view it as merely bragging, even tho I assume there are people with at least 10 times more than me out there. |

How long have you been following EVE politics...ISS have already been in that boat twice in the last 10 months and ISSO has always paid monthly. |

I meant to cover this earlier but forgot. You do realize you don't need access to 0.0 to make a mere 5% profits, I don't care if it's 300 billion isk you're working with. Especially when you have a whole corp working on it. If you can't make over 5% with an entire corp then you should get out of the trading business. |

the ISSO money is seperat from the colonys we have. so even if we loose them, and its looking shiny for us atm, it wont affect ISSO tbh we lost... several ouposts since the start of the IPO and its still at 5%, got close to braking that a couple of times oh and everything between 5 and 10% goes to the team that makes the ISK |

While you have indeed made 5% and I have a small investment in ISSO just because I liked what you guys stood/stand for, I must say it is quite a tiny return all things considered. If any entire corp can't make more than 10% per month then either you're not listing true profits, no one is spending more than a few minutes per day on the corp's profits, or you guys are really making bad decisions. 5 people should be able to break 10% profits if they each spent just a few hours per day on it without breaking a sweat doing so. |

5%+? how many times has it been over 5% a month in the near year they've been going? plus, isso has an alliance doing the work (their words, not mine). is fastlearner a publicly traded corp/alliance with hundreds of people. comparison is a fail. sorry. |

a track record of paying divs. is it a track record of paying outstanding divs, which someone with 300m should invest in? versus divs that routinely go much higher, routinely? you're just a loudmouth. want a random quote? |

Ezoran, I just can't tell you how delighted I am that you will be joining the ReeRee Brigade! You are a natural ReeRee and you fit right in with our corporate culture. i'm no whiny bob alt without balls to post on my main. sorry. edited: back on track -- check out the div history of a few corps that give GOOD divs consistently. shoot for something at LEAST 7%, if not 10%. ask around in resx and egsex channels in game and check out kasia's sites in the sticky (esman and esmar). |
