Ok, first of all, I have no idea, what happened exactly !
But I am not blinded by some hate against MC&BoB and can use my brain to some extent to try to understand, why MC invited M.Pire, FATAL, CoW etc:

Not every decision is motivated by earning isk.
Let's not forget, the North declared war against BoB&friends and came down south-west.
MC's job was to stop it and solve that problem in a way that the North doesn't come down South after a few weeks and attacks again. No secret and imho a no-brainer, really.

There is a simple solution: You don't need renters, you don't need someone, who pays insane amounts of isk, you only need someone, who is interested in space, is willing and able to fight for it/defend it, is reliable and doesn't fall into your back afterwards.

There you go: I have no idea, what really happened behind the scenes, but I think I have found an explanation that doesn't involve rent, tenth of billions of isk payment, selling our souls or turns us into slaves forever and makes much more sense.
I believe the demands from MC were really low, for what was offered tbh.

Sorry for seeing it rational. I know, stories of slaves saying 'Yes master !' 100 times a day and paying billions of isk for that luxury are much more interesting.

edit: And people can see now, we are really willing to fight for that nice space to keep it.

I'm not really one to join in the smackfests, but lol. You should really get a clue before coming on here spouting crap. Do you have any idea how many pos's MPIRE have lost since we came to the north? How about how many we've blown up?

We've lost literally none since we have come up here, a couple have gone into reinforced, so I guess they cost us a bit of stront, gg. In v7 RZR lost 13 Large POS's. In BKG currently we've destroyed 2 small, 1 med, and I think 3 or 4 large during the current 'invasion'. All the other non-MPIRE pos's in system are reinforced and will be destroyed when they come out.

So if you are up for making a wager when you actually know the facts, then you may as well send the isk over now.

We lost Caps due to game mechanices. We may get them back because of this. The caps you lost (Carriers and MoM), you wont get back. The gizzilion battleships you and your friends have lost you wont get back. The POSes that we are killing you wont get back. Get the picture??!

Why do people who are not involved at all in a conflict go to the forums and try to pick a fight spouting contempt for one side and trumpeting victories of the other?

Up north is a fight between FATAL, M Pire CoW and FS against RZR, MM and some farther east friends, and then triumvirate as a wildcard either attacking everyone or allying with rzr/mm temporarily (this I dont get, if you really like fights with all the factions then why get involved in pos war to oust one? helping IAC or -A- directly would work more directly to benefit your desires, but whatever)

The fights are good, they're fun when they work, they're laggy and can crash nodes but of all things they are, they are not about puppets of the south or east or any such - people who cant understand the value of allies over the concept of 'pets' don't really get this game tbh.

Some good fights all over, respect to everyone on the enemy side and may the node gods bless our battles and allow them to continue.

Yeah, hate to burst your bubble there, but uh, no you won't. CCP has never, and probably will never, reiumburse cap losses. Unfair, but that's the way it is.

No need to wonder on the forums. Talk to us in game if you are looking for part of, or a whole, region. We are rarely short of space to give away. If the price is right, and you are prepared to commit your own fleet and capital ships along side us, as M.Pire did, you can even pick one that is currently occupied.
