I know about this problem.
They tend to spawn in packs of 2-3 and fly straight 1-2km/s to random direction.
Another problem is those annoying cloaking vindicators who just disappear when you warp to belt.

CCP, please fix these issues or tell serpentis how to fit their ships properly.

I once probed out those nanoships and jumped at them with my crow - I couldn't keep up with them... Had a carrier warp to me when I had one webbed - Damn that was hard work.

The nerf wasn't for their speed so much it was for agility. BS used to move like frickin interceptors which was the problem. now u can easily catch webs on nano bs by using simple tactics to get them into face you then bolt back at them. they can't turn quick enough to get away before u can slap a web on. plus i haven't seen one going over 10km/s since the nerf which i'd say is progress. Altho the new mod that's on the drawing table looks to end it once and for all.

You missed the subject of the situation. The problem is where the Battleship NPC's in 0.0 like to floor it out of belts at 10+ km/s. THIS IS NOT ABOUT PLAYER SHIPS.

Tbh, it was more fun when they spawned at stations and then set course MWDing towards the belt where they were supposed to be. Needless to say, 10 hours later they'd be a looong way from the station, but still without hope of reaching the belt for another year.
Dunno if they do that anymore though.

And lols @ the standard anti-nerf brigade
