I have a Crow and it goes as Follows...

H: Standard Missile Launcher II x 3
M: Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
M: Warp Scrambler II
M: X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
L: Nanofiber Internal Structure II
L: Overdrive Injector System II
L: Local Power Plant Manager: Diagnostic System I

set up for small craft killing and as a tackler. The speed achieved when using Precision Light Missiles is now satisfactory. I achieve a non MWD speed of 484 m/s. But If I use Light Fury Missiles, Although with skills it says I get a higher damage out put, I do not, it is difficult to maintain cap due to the lowered recharge time, but it does get me going 630 m/s.

Is the trade off of cap worth the speed? I am barely outrunning cruise missiles as it is right now. What do you all think?Question

If you care about the damage, go with faction missiles.

Never use T2 missiles. EVER. Switch to arbalests, use T2/gistii MWD, and faction missiles. Use 2 ODs unless you're strapped for cap, then use 2 CPRs and 1 OD. Use named/faction scram for less cap usage. Throw some polycarbs and LG snakes in for speed.

BOOM tough actin' tinactin.

Drop the web, you are paper thin with very little cap, you do not want to be close enough to a target to use that web EVER, have someone else in the gang fit a web, not a missile crow.

Don't use T2 ammo, the crow's damage is still going to be poor no matter what, if you still feel you want the extra damage use faction missiles but personaly i would just stick to T1.
It was an option before to use Precision missiles for the extra bonuses, but it was only viable if you were fast enough to negate the side effects but now we have faction missiles readily available there is no need.

Things to do for the future if you want to specialise in flying the crow. Max out your navigation and cap skills, SNAKE SET, GISTII MWD, POLY's, then change the lows to 2xOD 1xcap mod thingy EDIT forgot the faction scram, its great being able to orbit out of heavy nos/neut range

3x Arbalest Light missiles

1x Cap recharger 2
1x 24km point
1x MWD II (or gistii, if you're loaded)

3x OD II (or domi/rep fleet)

2x Poly rigs

This is the most speed (8.6km/s with T2. bumping 10km/s with gang) you're getting out of a crow. However, you can only keep the MWD + point running for around a minute, and thats with maxed skills, so don't expect to be using this solo against anything bigger than a frigate. You're a fast initial tackler and occasional scout. That's all.

Replace one overdrive with a t2/beta cpr and thats what I use.

3x t2 standards
t2mwd t2 web t2 disruptor
cpr2/nano2/od2
2x aux thrust rigs

6900m/s with my skills and rogues , i know polycarbs are better but ona low mass frig like the crow not 100m isk better, and the web is for defense/webbing other crows who don't fit webs

carry caldari navy bloodclaws, and precisions i also carry em/therm/exp for breaking racial afs tanks

they do, but tbh they are a bit overkill, especialy at the price, a Shadow Serpentis one is good enough and a huge saving in price.

Personaly I prefer to go with a True Sansha/Dark Blood, paying double the price for an extra 2km and slightly more cap useage is rather stupid?
