A TIME MACHINE!

....so i don't normally create threads, and this is my first bob thread, probably also the last. I've been hearing however that bob have created a time machine, known as the, "turdis" and are using it to change eve history to dominate the map!

Thoughts/comments????????

I'm not sure since when I think of Band of Brothers I think of the HBO mini series since they own the copyright for the name. Pretty sure thats a EULA violation, chalk another one up to selective rule enforcement.

Its also a quote from a play thats in the public realm, so yeah, good luck trying to claim originality on that one.

Technically, the name comes from Shakespeare's Henry V, which is where the TV program (and it's preceding novel) got it's name. Whether BoB was named for Shakespeare or the HBO series (I suspect the latter) doesn't really matter, since that's a perfectly reasonable excuse.

That kind of "registered trademark" would only be relevant when applied to a product competing in the same field. So you're probably free to name anything you like Band of Brothers, as long as it's not a WW2 military drama.
