You recall wrong. D2 offlined the sov-holding towers in western part of Branch. Hell, ask D2 about it if you want. They were leaving Branch in freighter-loads, even leaving super-caps under production undefended. Once the stations were abandoned, Sparta took control of them, otherwise you would have Tri/Pandemic/Other random roaming gangs all getting those stations for a day.

So what? When I was in IRON, I had the isk to build a Mothership as well. Do you know what I did with it? I donated isk to alliancemates that were short on cash, I donated isk to the alliance to buy new Capital Ships, I bought Abbadon's, fitted them with Dark Blood modules and sacrificed them as bait in order to bring victory to my usually outnumbered gang (those Abbadons could easily tank 10-15 member gangs for 5 minutes straight). My 20+ bil isk was spend useful, for the benefit of the entire alliance *during* the war. Sparta's 20+ bil isk was wasted, *after* the war.

Huh? I'm not even sure how you can say that, but whatever. The vast majority of our alliance was in Querious and Fountain for three months killing and being killed. We poured a lot of ISK into the campaign as well.

Yes...we had a visit from you in Fountain and got a spanking. We enjoyed the fight.

2nd) Think back at how you treated TOS and you will know. You can say about Sparta what you want, but unlike Iron and MM, Sparta has shown respect and has treated each and every member as equal.

That is what deserves respect, not claiming that you killed this and this and that. Knowing your members and respecting them will earn you much more. That is the same reason we still respect TRI a lot. We fight them, we often die, but they remain respectfull at everytime. Especially the old members of TRI always show respect in a fight, whether that be blob warfare or a simple gank or a 1 vs 1. Although they are often superior (in SP or in experience) they will always treat you as a fellow eveplayer.

Still looking for that in Iron and still looking for that in MM. Been in ops with both of them, been in channel with both of them... man, no matter what you claim Sparta did in the past, never ever have i been treated that way like when i was in IRON or MM

If you want to start talking about respect, go out with honor instead of smacking into your grave. Respect is something that is earned. Tri has earned respect here today for the defeat of multiple alliances- Iron has earned respect in the past for fielding one of the most skilled pvp forces in the north - and I dont care what MM does, they are alive and kicking.. that is respect.

One thing that is for sure about TOS, you need to work on keeping friends. It seems like every time one of your decent members left, they were met with hostility.. and now who is left? Friends in this game is a more important asset then any amount of isk, and you need them real bad right about now.

Good luck to Sparta and good luck to TOS. This is a good time to throw out the past, buy a new suit and start again... use it well.

If you were actually aware of what happened you'd know that we (SPARTA) had no choice but to reset standings...

Yes we took CZD and UEJ from D2 (D2 GAVE THEM TO US, ask any high ranking D2 player)and from that point onwards things went downhill, no i don't agree with every decision that was made but sometimes you have to lump it or leave it...

when hearing MC were attacking FLA space we sent forces down to assist FLA, D2 did NOT show up to help, and after FLA fell we realised we were next.. this left us with 2 options (if we wanted to keep the space we had)

1 - sit here and watch as MC destroy us...
2 - withdraw from the war and try to survive.. then see were we are later...

now anyone who has any pride in there alliance would do the same as us which was option 2, now looking back at this Harleighs post wasn't worded in the best way.. but if you read it it still made perfectly clear sense well to me at least..

SPARTA is withdrawing from the war, we are KEEPING our standings as are..

but no.. some ppl read between the lines (2+2=5 jobs) and read it more like

SPARTA is withdrawing from war and resetting standings, dispite the massive amount of aguements over this nobody seemed to get the message..

about a day after the withdraw from war thread was posted a supposed ALLY FIRED ON US... followed by several more 'friendly fire' incidents over the next few hours/days... (you can check killboards for proof that MM RZR etc FIRED ON US FIRST)

This left us with NO CHOICE but to reset standings and now put yourself in our shoes here... you have just been forced to reset standings to your friends as they have been firing on you and you have your old enemies out here as well... provides a target rich enviroment I admit, but for the safety of the alliance and it's members it's not a good area, so we were forced to seek new allies BY MM RZR etc..

so please before you start slating SPARTA off for reseting our standings first, i suggest you get the full story.

now to the actual reason of post. to the (now EX) SPARTANS Gl in whatever you choose to do, to TRI we had some good fights hope to have more, and to the ppl who think you know everything about sparta and it's history coz someones told you this that and the other I suggest you find out what really happened from the ppl who WERE actually there..

I am ashamed that I was part of this corp and I am ashamed that Needa and Caleb felt that you could represent the corporation. Its just sad and I wish you knew what you look like on these forums, I think even you would be ashamed.

We did not "blow" any "load" in Querious against "FIX." Oh, we were there, but so was BoB to bail FIX, just like you do it now, but with -A-/IAC it ain't the same, also because they don't have other worries.

If MC hadn't gotten the upper hand in the North (which made us come and try to defend it and then retake Tenal), Querios would have had another face by now seing the shear advancement RSF it pulling out in the South. BoB have their hands full and FIX too. Rest assured of that.
