Hi all

I am looking for some suggestions on the best rigs to use on my Absolution for PvP in a fleet and small gang support role.
If anyone has set setup they could suggest it would be a great help.

Thanx

Perhaps trimark armor pumps?

I think I fit a powergrid rig so I could fit a 1600RT plate, dual reps, MWD, nos, and cap booster. Think I had Focused Medium Pulses in the highslots.

Second rig is a Auxiliary Nano pump, trimark might also be useful, but I think dual reps provide longer life with the pump than with trimark.

My opinion is that for tanking when primary in gang situations, you need lots of armor and high resists so that your reps can absorb as much damage as possible.

Just wondering how does cap hold up with the 2x mar2 and time reductiona rigs vs rep amount rigs. is cap enough of a concern that the recharge rigs would be a good/needed move?

nano pump and pg rig, so you can fit mwd, cap booster, all high slots with HP + med nos, dual rep ... good tank, good dmg

I like resistance rigs. Whilst aux nano pumps and nanobot accelerators are indeed the best option, I like to be able to swap out my slots - and once a rig is in, that's it. Personally:

Rigs:
1x Anti-Thermic Pump
1x Auxiliary Nano Pump

Highs:
6x Heavy Pulse Laser II's
1x Small Nosferatu

Mids:
1x YT-8 Microwarpdrive
1x Warp Disruptor II
1x Medium Capacitor Booster II

Lows:
2x Medium Armour Repairer II
1x Internal Force Field Array
2x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
2x Heat Sink II

Tanks and deals 500 DPS (plus any drones you might have, I recommend a web drone because you have no room to fit a web), assuming that the microwarpdrive is used sparingly. As I mentioned above, better tanks and better DPS can be achieved, but this provides a nice balance between the two and gives you the flexibility in your lowslots that having to shore up your kinetic and thermal resistances usually deprives you of.

it holds out just fine tbh. the cap recharge time with maxed cap skills is pretty sweet and u can run everything on it while steadily injecting for a very long time even under a couple of heavy nos.

I was attacked by a nos domi with 4 heavy nos and 2 med neuts and i could still run guns, point and 1 rep now and again comfortably. one reason why i love the ship.
