Thanatos. 'cause I'm Gallente/drone specced and CBA to train for another race (though I think the Thanatos is just fine). Can't fly the damn thing, since I switched specs halfway there, but hey... *one day*... I will undock (and be blown up right quick by someone with any pvp skills, no doubt).
Still, Thanatos all the way. Archon is a great tank and all, but a remote rep daisy chain sorta makes that a bit redundant. I'd rather kill things quicker with my fighters. I'd never fly a carrier like it was a t1 frig (eg, solo). |

Chimera, 18 days till i can finally fly one :) then about 4 months till i have all the skills for fling it well to lvl4 :( but still im Caldari through and through so its gotta be a chimera |

Thanatos
Setup right it has a good tank,
Gets a damage bonus (there are no damage bonus mods for fighters, so this is a very 'valuable' bonus)
Can use capital shield reppers to rep a pos, and also has no fitting problems unlike caldari/minmatar carriers.
Archon is sometimes better for close up battle because of its ability to use armor xfers and its nice tank bonus, but that is only going to help her so much, you still need a superior gang, the carrier just helps avoid too many friendly losses. |

Definitely the Nidhoggur, nothing comes close to the sex of that thing . Just keep on bringing the Nid hate, suits me fine, more for us that <3 them. |

This is what made me decide to not go for the Archon/Chimera. Well, Chimera because shield tanks suck for capitals in laggy environments and Archon because although many ppl dream of it, few fly it. This means low supply of fuel and replacement ships. I was thinking of either Nidhoggur - without a doubt the best support carrier, but I decided to go in the end for the Thanatos. I don't like flying FOTM but the extra drone bay and the fact that it's fuel is very popular - many gallente capital pilots out there, means that I have few problems. They way i figure it. If you do get ganked by 50-60 ships or even 15 determined to take you down and with experience, you are going to die no matter what carrier you fly. So I'd rather choose one that gives me an advantage in logistics. :) Nowadays many use as EW damps, and the Archon can fit at best 1 sensor booster but it does it by sacrificing cap for tank. Same can be said for the Chimera. Nidhoggur and Thanatos both have 5 meds. :) |

Fly a Thanatos, and while some of the other carriers tank better, I like being able to use either shield reps or armor reps, and since most carriers armor tank, Chimeras tend to get boned in gangs where most of the other carriers have armor reps fitted. |

At this time Im as close to a Chimeara as I am to a Thanatos, with the Nidhoggur a bit behind.
Would go for Thanatos (offensive bonus) or Nidhoggur (cuz I like Norse Mythology). :) |

FYI : you might just as well go to the eve skills showroom, it will give you the numbers of pilots able to fly these ships with a far better sample of the community
