Have fun with LOTRO, Turbine has such a crappy customer service, that you're gonna have "no patch, no connection" after every patch. Not to mention what happens when they release major content updates... Come on, 10minutes ain't that bad, is it? |

are you forgetting the fact that this is a patch to fix the patch that was in development and testing for weeks? Which was itself a patch to another patch that was in development for months? There's nothing about this retroactive "emergency patch" crap that shouldn't have already been addressed. This is basic software QA stuff :/
Would you rather log on now, and play with the current bugs, than wait a little while they release the fastest patch deployment in eve history..
you have no choice in the matter. When they release THIS patch, there's going to be some bug reintroduced, some memory leak reintroduced, some NEW crap that they mucked up along the way. etc etc. I've waited 4 years for proper software development cycles in the hopes this game gets out of beta. My cynicism is well founded :/ call me an optimist, but I still hope. |

Why can't CCP announce these things a bit earlyer. I set a skill yesterday to be completed just around DT, but now thy're applying another patch! It's not a big deal, just kinda annoying. How much work is it to post a message on the frontpage a day before the next patch gets deployed...
Also that memmory leak got me killed yesterday. :( |

They did announce it suggest you train reading skills and they were around 10 - 20 mins late re-starting other words like "get a life" comes to mind. |

You might have to restart your client to have it detect the new patch.
And to all the people whining about bugs not getting solved, you lot obviously have no idea how much stuff has been fixes over the last few years. Then they introduce new stuff, there will be bugs (software always has bugs, live with it) and they have been fixing those too. Expecting flawless software for the price you pay is rather silly. |

That happens after a restart. I assume it's because the whole EVE universe isn't loaded after a reboot but loads regions as and when required. Much more efficient use of resources. |
