Normally I would say stealing is a horrible action. But then again when you corp / alliance uses those actions every day or every other day like off lining POSs and Spys and stuff like that as well as POS bowling all I can say is LoL you welcome such actions don't be shocked when they happen right back to you. Hope this happens every other week till you guys get off your high horse. |

Corp theft sucks. Period. It doesn't matter who it happens to or if it's 50bn or 9000bn (which someone said evol lost). It's just worse when it someone you know and trust does it.

Well then IAC is certainly in for an extensive dose of corp theft, espionage, and corp pos off-lining! Because they have certainly employed those methods multiple times in the past, including against ISS. Nothing was too low for IAC, and I'm glad the lesson is that the worm will turn. I love all the bitter goonies turning out -- BoB really got their goat. It's hard to gloat and cheer while maintaining smug ironic detachment, but if you're sufficiently cool -- like teh goonies -- you just might be able to pull it off! |

Flatliner's accomplishment came not through skill in social engineering or months of effort, but mind-boggling hubris, overconfidence and naiveté on behalf of evol management who let such a system fly in the first place.

I would feel sorry for EVOL if this wasn't an example of the underhanded tactics they themselves and other BOB members have employed against various enemies.
That being said, it's still lame and underhanded no matter who does it. No respect to corp thieves, even if BOB had it coming. |

i dont think any of us really care beyond the fact that it's funny because it happened to omnipotence itself. you do realize we just came off of the theft of over 25 billion in personal donations by our founder and former ceo and responded by pushing bob out of tenerifs right? |

Damn that almost made me feel bad for 0.00001 of a second after my last laughing fit. Seriously though, the karma comment pretty much nails it. I hope most people can't have any sympathy for an alliance which is pretty much based on this kind of crap, doesn’t ask for sympathy anyway and spends much of the time being one giant collective bad mannered ass to the entire community. It's not that long since BoB members were posting stuff from people's internal forums on these boards. However, if you want, you can picture BoB as a little kitten called Robert staring up at you teary eyed because someone has stolen his milk. But that would be somewhat misrepresentive of the situation. Cute image though. |

even though we have all now established that evol got ripped off pretty damn hard, and contray to their huffing and puffing that 'most of it' has been replaced but 'not all of it' cuz, ya know like, 'we're so awesom and cool like and like, like, we all sit round the fire at band camp and sing songs to each other, like...'
my question is this...
Have the other bob corps thought about their own internal security issues?
The guy that ripped evol off said he started his operation off over a year, could the other big bob corps, most notibly BNC, DICE etc have their own sleeper agents inside the corp waiting for the most optunine time to strike?
I guess only time will till!
