As BoB is an player alliance i guess this is the correct forum for this question.

If you look under
BoB Alliance information screen -> Standings -> liked by
Factions:
The Blood Raider Convenant 4.50 (good)

I randomly checked other alliances and couldnt find any other alliance that recieves any standings from NPC factions.

Any major diplomatic movements nobody noted yet ?

To give you a serious, yet vague and most likely inaccurate answer; blood stations were added to period basis/delve (i think) while they were removed from low sec. They were given agents here (the reason for the move i think) but BoB was annoyed since they had been npcing and had terrible standings to bloods. Because the space was uncontested as BoB's at the time, and because the change had been very sudden, they were given standings so that the members could actually use the agents.

Thats how I believe it went, however i paid little attention to it so I don't know if I'm completely right or wrong.

They do Blood Raider missions, those give the BoB members reputation, therefore their corporation, therefore their alliance.

Missions give corp standings not alliance standings. Anyway, don't think this is something to get particularly upset about. Wink

That standing doesn't do anything missionwise. Perhaps it reduces costs at blood raider stations(which I doubt), but once your personal standing towards faction or corp is less than -2 you can't do missions. The 4.5 standing(which i didn't even notice) didn't help me in any way with accessing agents of higher lvl.

Basicly you went few times to 6/10 or npcing for few days and you could forget about blood raider missions.

The annoying thing about the blood raider stations is that you can't deny people docking rights at them, so it makes it more annoying to kick people out of our space.
I don't know how that standing got there, but it does absolutely nothing for you in terms of missions.

Indeed, several BoB members received a 9.99 standing from the Blood Raider Covenant when the stations and agents were moved from The Bleaklands to Delve.

Makes you wonder why BoB chose Delve in the first place, there were a lot of better regions out there, and they could have took anyone of them.

It was next to Fountain and relatively easily taken, putting us right in between FIX and FA at that time. Our main targets after the GNW.

Also, it offers quite a few very low true sec systems/constellations, is the gateway/ccentral point for access to two other regions and deepspace acces to alot more and is still quite close to empire. Also, sovereignty was already in development at that time I believe, making it a nice place to start developing in preparation for capital ship production.

Christ some of you people make me sick.

It was an honest question by someone who clearly wasn't around when the Blood stations were added to BoB space.

.

Why they still have the standings however is behond me. Anyone who was in the BoB regions at the time has had more than enough time to decide if they want to mission for Blood Raiders or not. The standings are clearly not needed anymore.

Wasn't there an event with bloodraiders like 1 or 2 years ago and some alliance flying with bloodraiders against someone else ? Might have been a different pirate faction though or I totally mix it up. Well, if BoB was involved, maybe for some strange reason standings got set and not removed later.

Just guessing though. I just seem to remember that there was an event, one alliance was flying with a pirate faction against some enemies and after that some people were whining on the forums about that, so the usual thing. So someone can help me out and put the pieces together.
Well, maybe I just made up a story of different events. Don't know. Laughing

Yes, maybe I mixed it up with some serpentis event.
Originally by: Fable Hike

btw, why do events always involve BoB?

Well, there was also angel events in the south-east and there I think ASCN, LV, whoever was involved.
Once I was flying around in Stain not long ago with my ceptor (or nanophoon ?) bored as I was, when mainly RAT was living in Stain I think, and there was a Sansha Event running.
A message popped up on my screen after entering a system about Sanshas gathering or attacking somewhere, several systems were mentioned, so I flew there, but it seemed to be already over.
