I would hope that development is progressing. Any chance of an update? Very Happy

Earlier this year...

The project was in limbo for a while due to the fact the developers on the project had moved on to other things. Some of the guys working on it were in their final year of university and were working on it as part of their final projects. They graduated before the product was finished. There is now a new team working on the project who aren't students.

I soooo want this.Twisted Evil

I have my doubts that we will ever see this.

I can play EVE Online on my PSP. ugh

I'm pretty sure I could set it up through a PDA or Smartphone as well. It's all about the uber VNC.

You would also have an insane data usage bill from your phone company, unless you add an unlimited data plan to your $15 a month. ugh

There are already VNC programs for PDA's and Smartphones which let you play EVE, albeit barely, through a desktop portal. I use pspvnc on my Sony PSP with RealVNC installed on the host PC. The larger widescreen format on the PSP makes EVE much more playable and enjoyable.

That just makes me want a PSP even more.... You'll have to talk me through the install some day. Razz

The idea was to only have simple things like skillchange and chat in the mobile client, not the full game...

Koi's all about the unlimited data plan! lol

Seriously though, I can't see playing eve on my 3" by 3" screen. I'd want it more just for skill changes and such which I believe is the same for the majority of us. No need for any major graphics either. Just a happy drop down menu of existing skills and and execute button would be perfect.

yeah bascially it would be ideal to be able to do the some of the basic things that are possible in station; change skills, conduct transactions, eve-mails, beyond that not much needed ( e.g. no need to be able to fit ships...)

a couple of uk mobile providers are offering unlimited data transfer for about a fiver a month.

give it time and it'll become the norm - given the speeds are a bit **** its not like people are going to be leeching torrents all day long, so the providers will be able to make unlimited data tariffs affordable. Which isn't to say they will, obv.

I'm all for Eve Mobile i.e. Strictly just to change a skill as i don't want to play on 3x3 but Kojio, can you detail how you got it to run on your PSP please? i.e. how to configure your PSP... where to you get Eve Mobile etc...?

Thanks
