Capital ships and Supercapitals have gotten out of hand in this game. Much of the wealth of three years of game play is being focused onto the current capital explosion. The BoB/MC Superblob has a total value of over one trillion isk in 200 or so ships. Other powers in the game are either getting run over or desperately trying to build their own superblob.
This is not taking the game in a good direction. What type of PvP are we likely to see when each ship costs (fully fitted) five billion isk? Not much and when we do see it, it won't be PvP for fun. So far we have yet to see the large stand up cap ship battles promised when caps where introduced. Instead one side shows up with a (super)blob of caps, the other makes a calculation of how much ISK it would cost to defeat the superblob and heads back to empire.
What we need is some form of Arms control. A 200 person fleet should never have a cost of more than 200B isk. Everybody can still bring a nice ship but lets STOP having the total daily gross value of Jita involved in our fleet fights K. Hopefully CCP will do something before the whole of 0.0 space is completely frozen by the weight of (super)capitals.

You do know that the deployed fleet size of the Coalition capital fleet has and does exceed the Alliance's, much less BoB and MC alone. It's not a matter of 'one side having all the capitals'. Some cap ships are for equalizing numerical disparities (carriers and motherships) and another is used for destroying POS (dreads). Titans are logistics and anti-blob, though the antiblob is getting nerfed with remote blast removal. What's there to complain about? 1 Celestis > Carrier. A small battleship group will destroy a much more expensive dreadnaught safely. A mothership is indeed, difficult to kill, but it's going to get a remote fighter assign nerf, and several have died already to fleets. They also cost as much as an outpost. Working as intended. |

Move out into the boonies then. They can't be everywhere at once. |

Why do people keep linking the MC and BoB capship fleets? We've barely flown together in this war with the exception of F-T and a brief stint in Querious. |

Not sure what kind of Bizzaro-World economics you've been taking, but concentration of liquid monetary assets into physical capital always equals deflation and a healthy market. Especially since you can't pull insurance on supercaps. Please, BoB, MC, and everyone else: Build more capital ships! Help fight EVE inflation! |

Arms control?
You know, if you would've left BoB/MC out of this, it would still have only been one of a load of "omg eve is cap ship online nerf oneoneon!" threads, but with mentioning them, you make yourself look like a crying coalition alt. |

Johana, if you want to see fights taking place under controlled circumstances with price limits to make it fair, then organize a tournament, or help the GMs organize their tournament. The coming corporations league looks like what you're after.
Fights outside of tournaments are unfair. They always will be. The trick is to be the one who deals the cards to your opponent. |

This IS very obvious to everyone but the nieve. BOB's enemys are useing Psycological warfare very cleverly to disrupt relations between neighbours. If MC is called a bob pet, they instantly start to feel there loosing there own identity and people start to get ****ed off. when a post like the one below Tomas is posted, i guarentee it is by one of bobs enemys. They are trying to get you to fight amonst yourselves... over your ego's... thus making thier job easier.. so yeah.. guy if you wanna loose.. keep listening to this propaganda. In my opinion it is just your enemys trying to make you insecure and fight amongst yourselves... From what ive been seeing lately... its working. Nobody on the outsides of any of these alliances know jack crap. They are simply like sheep following what they are being told by thier leaders. I dont have real ties yet to any alliance tbh... but i know when people are being Mind-****Ed. Just an observation of course |
