I remember how hard it is to get back a BC after you lost it, so never going to risk as much again.
I'd rather remember how cool it was to go into battles more then once a month because you could not avoid it. |

Loads of memorable experiences.
How about when CCP gave us all snowballs and launchers, the hour or so after downtime were one of the funniest ever.
Camping a gate and legally aggroing in Jita with your snowballs and watching Concorde play on your side till everybody wised up :)
Great Job, lets hope were all here in another 4 years. |

Happy Brithday to you, Happy Bridthday to you...dadadadllalala etc. Anyways, long ago as a noob in eve, I opened for the first time a window to a new EVE uniiverse .... it really did opne as a window which unfortunatly hid the chat channels (just off the bottom of the screen) so I spent my fisrt few days communicating with the EVE universe via evemail and thinking it was a bit much to charge for chat, CSPA must be making a bomb. Anyway i had to mine like mad to keep up the payments incurred by my prolific chat . Thanks to Damige and Knowl for pointing out that if I just raised the window a tad I could chat for free ....Cheers m8s |

Most memorable moment in the game, and one of my most memorable in any game.
GG CCP and happy birthday EVE, and here is to another four and more. |

First time I took a BS out of the dock, a tempest. It took months to put it together and it looked so good as it slowly turned and warped out.
That first big ship was awesome. |

If anyone can read my bio, you'll see that I was born four years ago too. So EVE's birthday is my birthday! Actually, I seem to be a day or two younger than EVE, but I thought I created this guy on launch day.
Anyway, my most memorable event wasn't a single occurence, but an early experience: wandering around 0.0 and lowsec in a Burst in the first few weeks of the game. I mined Arkonot when I felt like it. I rarely ever saw another player. From today's perspective, that was a fairly unusual EVE experience! |

Well four years, so it's still kindergarden age. :)
I always liked the idea of living in space, that's why I signed up. But to be honest I never had a great moment in this game. I haven't got enough time to really get ahead. It's mildly enjoyable to stare at the ptretty screen. I never won a pvp fight and usualy end up being blown up. So basicaly I suck at it. And P.V.E. isn't the most exciting computer rpg I've done by a long shot.(Even though it certainly gets better and better)
I'm still here because I have the feeling there could come a moment that it really would be cool. But that hasn't happened yet.
I think the concept is exciting but it still has a long way to go. |

Congratz ccp on 4 years of EVE.
for me the most memorable experience was the frist day i played eve, mining away in duripant to be approached by a RONA corp member in a thorax, asking if i wanted to join the corp, being a noob, i jumped at the chance and prospect of getting 1 of them ships ive not looked back since, still in RONA and will be for the next 4 years of eve.

Edited by: ValQis on 05/05/2007 16:27:59 Happy birthday EVE. You have made the greatest game these past 4 years. Here's to 40 more years at being the top of the top of mmorpgs.
My most memorable event. Ingame, i must say, disrupting a fleet op in a corp i was in, with an alt i had flying around to make fun with them. Hearing them call over Teamspeak, we have been discovered, a pirate corp is currently scouting out all our posses. *grins evilly*
Out of game, being accepted into ISD. These are some of the best and funniest people i know.
Oh and firing up the game for the first time, and hearing "Below the asteroids". I was hooked when i heard the soundtrack while flying around. |

Happy b-day EVE! :D
Most memorable thing for me was even before I started playing EVE... I remember going to a LAN at a friends house and seeing EVE for the first time... First thing I asked was "what the hell is that? I likes!" Ever since that day I've been thinking about getting an account and last year, I couldn't keep from finally getting it. Today, I am a proud EVE addict xD |

Although I haven't played the game for 4 years, I did start up in 2005 and the most memorable event for me when AAA was still fighting AXE for possession of Impass and we got like 30 guys to lock and do something (other than fire) upon a pod while a dread undocked to come and pod the pilot. That was so hilarious! Especially since it was all for fun and the pilot logged on a second after it happened. |

I think my most memorable moment in EVE was fighting BoB vs ASCN, despite the arse kicking and smack it was still fun.
Seeing the dawn of the capital age. Too many to list really.
Happy Birthday EVE.
That reminds me, STK will be 4 years old soon too. :)

Happy Birthday EVE! Most memorable moments? --Realizing that there would be no more char-wipes, and that now it was "for real". --( BIG) comming second in the amarr championships - (incredibly) beating Evolution on the way. --Having been part of the FA - Who, when it was great, was truly great! --Meeting up with the Jove in Fountain, and having a crowd of 150+ FA's gathered for the event in 20 minutes or less (unheard number of pilots in one place back then) --Stopping CFS and DSMA from fighting each other (under threat of FA killing whoever shot first) - Only to have them (and others) join forces some time later to try and oust FA. The irony of that one still makes me chuckle. --The 1 year anniversary of the BIG Lottery --The 2 year anniversary of the BIG Lottery --The 3 year anniversary of the BIG Lottery --The 4 year anniversary of the BIG Lottery (round 105 is the 4th anniversary round) |

Happy Birthday guys, thanks for the last 4 years!
So many memories...
Just trying to figure out the game was probably the best, thinking things like "if i orbit the asteroid while i mine it, i get better yield" and "there is no way I will ever get a moa i could mine for years and not afford that thing"
I guess the turning point was getting that first Indy ship (bestower ftw) and finally having a source of income. Then spending all of it buying megacyte to trade for miner IIs when they first got released. Those were the days. |

I remember the first time i blew someone up my corp had had a few run ins with Infinitus Odium (INFOD), so we decided to go down there and take a pop at blowing them up, we set of for Obe and by the time we got there everyone made there excuses and logged only 1 guy and me left so we entered the complex there and killed the first spawn and then we called for help in local saying we where getting our asses kicked in the complex a few minutes passed and no one came so we move to the second stage and killed the spawn called for help in local again and a few minutes later a guy jumped into range i targeted him with my passive targeter and unloaded a hail of missiles i was screaming in corp chat to the guy to open fire and pop the guy was in a pod and id nearly wet myself with excitement................ |

The thing I have etched in my mind is the pensive wait for the first time the servers went up. My character was 4 years old today at 10:38am GMT, and I'm very proud of it. That, and the old login screen, with the blue revolving EVE sign. That was gorgeous, far better than the current one |

My best days was when I started back in ISS Logistics devision realising that not only did this pushed me alot faster down the road I'd like to go but I join a organisation that has become ever more famius for its resiliance in a game thats the only one of its kind - a game made by the gamers for the gamers and paid by the gamers. No wonder things like ISS can only really live here!
Moments has passed and moments will come agian but when being part of the organising troop that build the former ISS outpost you can hardly feel more right, that this is what a true MMO should feel like!
Many create the content for other to play by, but few has so much fun, doing just that, as the players of EvE. |

My most memorable time in eve was relising after 1 month of play you could actually talk to ppl out side the stations in chat - i had for a month been playing in window mode and the chat screens would go off the screen when i closed em prior to undocking :) It took me a month to work that out :) Happy 4x |

Happy Birthday to EVE...
Things I miss and love about EVE.
1. Flying a Domi at 47km/s even if you can only run three MWD for one cycle :D 2. I miss m0o Corp the most :D loved to hate them. 3. Coming out of warp at max speed. 4. Launching lots of cans with no time limit per each one.
Lots and lots of stuff I miss but I have to say that the game gets better all the time :D
