Better lvl 4 mission rewards, yes i know about the pplans to add lvl 5's into low sec, but alot of people and corporations alike dont want to give pirates their daily gank. perhaps sorting out the sharing system to gang members, i dunno, making it that each gang member gets the full bounty for a rat, (dont know if at all possable to filter by 1 reward per IP to stop people making tons of alts to get super rewards) etc

Ship to Ship boarding combat, be able to board and attack the ship from the inside


eg 2 frigs attack and scramble a cruiser then a Troop carrier ship (or another current class of ship just with troops in its hold) attaches to the cruiser and boards using troops to capture the ship and eject the pod.

Better Immersion, as an RPer I'm DYING to see ANYTHING that will make this game more realistic, such as walking in stations and planetary stuff.

I also desperately want EVE novels and a move =)

More Dev Interaction in game, so users can actively describe bugs etc to the dev "in person", obviously not announced well before hand, to prevent overcrowding, but at random in different regions, spread out.

For the love of God, STOP adding new features until you have a handle on many of the game-breaking bugs, broken mechanics, items database (hello?), unused modules, useless skills, GUI shortcomings, server load issues, economy, invention, exploration, POS warfare, Ctrl + Q, mission gates, contract system, etc, etc...

ArrowImprove upon the current game features first, then move on to bigger and better things.

Player customizable user interface.

Rather than the devs working at the impossible task of making one interface to satisfy 100k different players let players customize it to their play style and shorten tedious activities. Wouldn't it be great if I could write an add-on that fixed contracts now? Draw inspiration from WoW's XML & Lua customizable UI. It cleverly avoids turning it into a bot programming language.

One change - lose the secrecy culture. Publicise GM rulings, publish details of what you define as exploits (except where game-breaking), publish AND UPDATE details of known bugs/'features'.

Everything game balance or gameplay related I expect to be noticed and fixed in due course, however slowly. The secrecy culture though is an area where I see no sign that CCP are prepared to admit there's a problem, let alone address it - which is why it's the one thing I'd fix.

For faction mods, give them bonuses when used on a sinilar faction ship (e.g. Amarr Navy Mods get and additional Bonus when uesed on Amarr ships, and more still on Amarr Faction ships) and penalties when used on non similar faction vessels.

The technology integrates better with same type mods and ships, not so on different type mods and ships. Restrict to the subset of faction items to reduce the dev work and to make people think about which faction items are best for their set up.

Also consider giving pilots a base increase in flying ships manufactured by their faction (or pirate types thereof).

I just came across this topic and don't have the time to read all 34 pages right now, so please forgive me if this has already been posted.

Improvements to ship control:

Create a shortcut with no key, only modifiers (CTRL, ALT, and/or Shift) to combine with a mouse click to send you ship travelling in that direction. The major difference between this and double-clicking in space is that in this mode the pointer would ignore all space and UI objects, including your own ship. I can't tell you how often I have do do a lot of extra maneuvering because I can't adjust my course by a few degrees. Or maybe just a shortcut to head directly where the camera is facing.

I would love to have an actual nav computer. This is a high-tech ship I fly around in, surely it should have the capability of pre-programming a few evasive maneuvers. A simple scripting front end with variables for X, Y, and Z-Axis rotations (ship's axis), thrust %, and maybe even wait times between commands, would be awesome. Some might say that this would enable macro'ers to exploit the system even more, but the system could be limited to not allow triggering of another maneuver from within the first, limiting the number of lines in the individual maneuver, and limiting the maximum total wait time within an individual maneuver.

X-Axis Left to right ( ship noses up or down around this axis )
Y-Axis Front to back ( ship barrel-rolls around this axis )
Z-Axis Top to bottom ( ship turns left and right around this axis )

Natural Wormholes and Private systems.

Have star systems off the map that are connected via natural wormholes found with exploration - have a pos module that stops all natural wormholes from working, these should be rich but solarity systems populated by rogue drones. these systems would allow small and medium alliances to gain some secure footings, as they can shut off access, but only in a defensive way - coupled with the possibilty off adding one or two way stargates to nearby systems would allow small skmirkes to be possible by small corps that have somewhere to retreat too.

pos modules for cloning would also help.

I know this might be squandering the one wish given by the genie, but if I could fix anything, it'd be something fairly mundane that has always annoyed me: once the player adjusts the zoom distance from the ship, keep it fixed at that distance.

It seems like every time I jump, undock, whatever, I always have to hit the scrollwheel a couple times to unzoom. Every damn time. I *like* being slightly zoomed out, and I'd like whatever zoom level I set to stay that way -- even across session changes. It's very annoying for some reason.

Anyway, there it is. Told you I was squandering my wish. Very Happy

The slightly annoying bug, where if warp scrambled and you try to warp, your ship will slow down to a stop when it fails.

I would like it to remain at speed and remain aligned.
