Oh, and I forgot to mention, lagg wasn't really that bad, it took nearly 15 seconds to load up the "Battlefront" (pos battle) and after that, if you were too zoom in "SLOWLY" you could see waht was going on.

Kudos to the instigators of this war for forming a unified political vision and then acting to make it come true. That's what makes EVE so cool. The willpower to wage war is something that I admire in an EVE entity, and since this war is part of a broad vision that starts with the current political landscape and builds a desirable future for them, I think its a great war.

Thank you for this. To me there's millions of reasons to fight, and to have our foes recognize what drives this fight is refreshing in the extreme.

to be honest i dont think that the lv bob alliance will fail but even if they do as you just said many may join fatal alliance and belive me the pvp side of our alliance (witch consists of most of us 98% ish) wether we lose the outpost or not wont be going anywhere apart from a npc station closest to your systems so even if we lose, bob and lv lose we will still be here doing the things that we do just with more numbers

Err, I'm not entirely sure what it is you're trying to say (punctuation and capitalisation are friends to be cherished by the way) but I think it's along the lines of, if you lose, you're going to come back with your big brother and all his mates and beat us up? That's a really sophisticated argument there, Mr Bean. Oh, and have fun finding an NPC station in the new regions.

your right you dont understand what im sayin. the justification ive heard for this fight was the fact that we didnt nap with the entire region and we have mates in a bob corp plus we left lv and may still be friendly with them.

the post said that it was a concern that if bob and lv lost they would join us ans come to thos region.

my reply was that wether we have a outpost or not that would happen or would'nt the only thing that has changed with this fight you started is to give us a target to totaly focus on if it does happen

Some one said, somewhere 3 pages back, that all you had to do would be remove us from our outpost and it will all be good.

There is no risk of Fatal breaking apart, we have been tried by fire and brimstone, and proven worthy. Our ties to our friends are priceless. Nothing in this game is worth loosing freinds over. So telling us that we should cut ties with the people that we have been playing with, longer then most people on this forum have been ingame is rediculous.

You may take my Pos, My Ships, my Pods. You'll never take this outpost. This MY outpost, MY system, MY Rats, MY Gates. Thats something that you can NEVER take. Its where I have decided to make home in eve, and theres no one in this game that can take that from me.

I have missed out on the fighting since Thursday due to moving and having no internets at home (won't be back on until Tuesday, sigh)... but, though this might be an inevitable setback for our side...

We will be back. In force. With our own big bad capital ships.

YM Valhalla is a warrior's refuge and warriors we are.

Warriors respect their foes, you have our respect- but you are not worthy of our Valhalla.

What is ours shall be reclaimed at a future date, I suggest you all stay on your toes awaiting our glorious return to rule and power.

The chances of us betraying our friends is zero. Warriors are loyal and honorable.

That said...

We were neutral in the war betweeen BoBLVstar Galactica and the Cylons of the NAP Pack. We wanted no part in the POS war petty politics of RAGoon and LV. We left the south for a reason.

YOUR actions have dragged us back into this conflict, not ours.

YOUR actions have brought this escalation from 'neighbors who pew pew one another for fun and excitement' to 'respected, dearest foe.'

Remember kids, the warriors will return home one day.

I hope your carebears don't complain too much.

Respect. Combat with glory. Death with honor.

Just a clarification, since there seems to be some misunderstandings about this.

The problem wasn't that you weren't NAP'd with the rest of the region, nor was it the fact you have mates in BoB or were former LV. XPact and FREGE continue to pew pew each other, and we don't care. Both RAM and AWM fought with LV before forming Ka-Tet. AWM was with BoB in the begining, working with them in Tenal and Branch during the GNW. AWM even has former It had to do entirely with geopolitical development, and those former points were a factor.

First things first. FATAL has ties with DICE, are friends with them, had their alliance formed with them, and flew in combat gangs with them. Unfortunately, DICE are part of BoB, and there was no way for us to guarantee that you wouldn't allow DICE or the rest of BoB to base out of your station. That presented a maor strategic liability - it would allow BoB to hit RA from the rear into Cache, or push north into D2/IRON space. Either one would bring that war to our doorstep, which we didn't want.

Secondly was your association with LV. AWM fought with LV while we were part of KOS, and based on our experiences then there was no way we wanted the main LV corporations to have a home out in the new Kali regions. FATAL we knew, and you have since confirmed by your actions, are stand up guys who just like to blow stuff up. Other LV corps have far different aims, ones that we don't want to have any part of. Once again, letting LV have an escape route into the Kali regions would bring that war to our doorstep, which we didn't want.

Based on those two things, we decided that unless FATAL was going to break ties with DICE and LV - something we considered unlikely at best - there was a good chance that DICE/BOB/LV would be able to use FATAL's facilities in the future. We therefore decided to put that outpost under new management, which would be less likely to present as hospitable a home for those elements.

Personally speaking, I think that FATAL is an incredible corporation, and I would love to have you living under our banner or even as members of Ka-Tet. But leaving you with an outpost that we can't control the access to is simply an unacceptable risk from a strategic point of view, and thus we come to the present war.

I LOL'd. Laughing

On a more serious note, all these recriminations regarding the genesis of this war are pretty much a moot point. I think it has been made abundantly clear that we left LV and set out on our own for exactly that reason -- to be on our own, and do what we want to do.

Our new neighbors don't like our old friends. They saw it as a liability, and decided to try to evict us. Personally, I think their reasoning sucks, and has already had the opposite effect from what was intended -- multi-alliance blobs tend to attract more alliances (hi Chowdown) -- but it doesn't really matter now.

Bottom line is, we're stuck with this war. Least we can do is keep up the good fights and good vibes, cause it certainly ain't over yet.

I understand the "geo-political" rationale put forwards most eloquently by Stamm. I don't agree with it. But we are where we are and given that rationale it makes complete sense for you all (still got to come up with a catchy moniker for your guys Razz) to gun for us as hard as you possibly can.

To be honest, 0.0 real-politik being what it is, it would have been unreasonable not to have attracted some interest at some point, and that was without recent events in the wider universe.......

It's also true that we did come to pay a visit, one that was warmly welcomed if I remember rightly (wasn't there but heard the chatter afterwards). That was like popping round to visit a neighbour with a bottle of wine to welcome them. Your return visit, with multiple dreads, was like tying to drive through our house in a bulldozer. If nothing else a definite statement of intent.

To date this conflict has been fought with an unusually high level of respect and been largely smack free. Let's do our best to keep it that way.

Personally speaking the last week or so (to be honest I forget how long it's been running now) has been the most enjoyable, intense and exciting gaming experience of my life. Long may it continue Very Happy.

FATAL has certainly earned my respect. They have been out numberd almost every time, and still bring the fight VERY hard. And once they have their teeth locked on you, they dont let go either. They keep warping in and loosing ships till the cap ship goes down.

As your main target last night, ( thankfully I still have my dread ) id just like to say thank you for the few gray hairs!!! There is nothing more intimidating than seeing a 50 man fleet with a swarm of fighters, and a big ass swarm of tacklers coming your way, all targeting you at once. My heart skipped a couple and I was like "uh... I think im primary" Kudos to my fleet for keeping them off me.

Anyhow. all that aside. I just want to say thanks for some of the best fights I have had in EVE. Certainly the most hair raising cap ops I have been a part of to date.

Thanks for the great fights, and the smack free. As everyone else says. Lets keep it that way! Good fights good times. I wish I could take you all out for a beer when this is over.

We are Fatal.

We aren't BoB, we aren't LV, we aren't a shell or dummy entity. Whatever reasoning or excuse you come up with for attacking us, we are not them.

You know what you've brought to kill us, and you know the brunt of the resistance you've met with has been Fatal. Admit that you came just to kill Fatal, which is fine - just don't delude yourselves into thinking this is some greater political maneuver.

and smack talk about killboards? it's been a bloody fight for both sides, but the only statistic you win on is loss/volume, with the emphasis on volume

Keep the smack out of these forums, and if you've come to kill Fatal then keep at it, but stop pretending you're doing anything else but fighting our alliance with your alliances
