1: More ship types that are not dedicated to PVP... Haulers, exploration, Salvage. Larger Industrial class
2: Boost the Stealth Bomber... with recent boosts... it's even worse than before
3: T2 BPO lottery.. kill it, replace it with something that works.
4: NPC Corps. Limit the amout of time that can be spent in them.
5: A higher rate of npc complex loot respawns. I'm am way too tired to go into them and find that they've been cleaned out already.
6: Ship Customisation. Even if it is only allowing the upgrading of ships to the types that are already in game, ie Blood Reaver Colours, Gurista colours etc
7: Access to more NPC shiptypes... there are so many out there that should be player run
8: I want a surfboard on top of my interceptor
9: Asteroid habitats for players. Placed only in systems with no stations.
10: More NPC action. I want to see an Angel Assault on the Rens system, or Gurista hit and run in Jita. Fleets of NPC ships hitting systems. WOuld be good for the faction wars. |

1. Game balance. Get the ships roughly equal. Fix the Maelstrom (Yes I fly minnie ships). Develop the flavour as to how each race fights. Admit you got it wrong with fleet warfare and range and reverse the shortening of ranges so that we all don't become Titan fodder. I want someone to explain to me how the Minmitar race ever managed to escape the clutches of the Amarr slave masters post Kali 1 given that Amarr outnumber them 10 to 1 and with the artillery nerf Minnie ships no longer massively outdamage them. Nerfing artillery was the silliest thing for game diversity I have seen. Now everyone is the same; Big tank get close and blast away. And when someone comes up with an innovative idea it gets nerfed - just look at the nanophoon - as soon as it becomes popular - CCP says its too powerful and will be nerfed. Having flown one and lost it to a pack of inties I don't think so. With your recent changes you are getting rid of diversity.
2. Introduce the ORE capital ship urgently. I hate seeing capital warfare ships with cargo expanders. Its stupid and demeaning. Allow freighters to dock with POSes.
3. Fleet warfare. Lag. Nuff said.
4. Stealth bombers that can ecm burst while cloaked would be so cool. But its an I WIN tactical button that will destroy fleet warfare. And you can say what you like - YOU created fleet warfare.
5. Tier 2 Dreadnoughts that are designed to kill capital ships.
6. Professions. Ignore the crap about having level 5 skills. A profession is a speciality; if you really want it to work make people earn it. Then make sure its lucrative so that someone who has spent a month learning to scan everything down can find some great complexes for it. Introduce speciality ships for archeology, scanning and scavenging.
7. T2 BPO's. You have got yourself into a right mess here. Unless you change all current T2 bpo's into limited run bpc's then you have just entrenched the powerful. Trouble is; people paid serious isk for those BPO's so doing this will harm them. Of course, an alternative is to make a once only buyback offer for those BPO's and then replace them with limited run BPC's. Personally, I would make hacking and reverse engineering far more viable. It should be much easier to reverse engineer a Vagabond into a limited run inefficient bpc than to invent it.
8. Encourage exploration - as soon as corp standings reach a point this should trigger an exploration event.
9. Plexes. Make all plexes wander. Stop the isk farming, which is the domain of the big alliances.
10. Station warfare. Introduce a sovreignty POS for system/constellation warfare. |

1 Remove or change local chat It is rather frustrating to try and sneak up on someone, only for them to dock or warp to a safe spot immediately after you jump into the system and enter local chat. Local chat should be limited to the immediate area only (such as the belt, planet, or whatever location you are at “right now”).
2 Current gate travel – warp to 0 Firstly, I love warp to 0 because it cuts my travel time in half. Secondly, I hate warp to 0 because it allows pilots to escape a system way too quickly. Thirdly, I don’t know what the solution is.
3 Auto switching of skill training Puhleaaase?
4 What does Charisma have to do with Will Power, besides being a modifier of learning Focus? Seriously… ok sorry I am going off topic, ignore this one.
5 Racial wars With all this backstory of racial wars, there is very little if any of it. What if a pilot had to choose a side, and they were permanently at war with the opposing sides?
6 One character per account
7 AI is pretty stupid at the moment

Edited by: Eraggan Sadarr on 15/03/2007 09:43:08Edited by: Eraggan Sadarr on 01/03/2007 13:57:22- REAL keyboard shortcuts: Like approach, fly this direction, orbit, drone engage, etc.. I cant' believe that this is still missing from the game. What about people who work daily with their mouse. Let's give their hand a break.
- Ability to set default stack and sort on item windows. I have been playing for almost a year soon and i think i can count the time wasted on "stack all" then "sort by type" in days.
- Evemail sort by thread. Make the evemail system work for the players, not against.
- Ability to queue skill training. You have talked about this before. Tired of wasting real time, when the server is down for some reason. Only queue one skill after the current so that you still have to log in to change. Also very frustrating for people who can't devote their entire lives to Eve. And therefore sometimes have days where they can't play, and might loose skilltime.
- Simple target queue. Where you can assign a weapon or drone to take a secondary target when the primary is destroyed.
- Better sound effects on individual ammo types and natural phenomenon. We might as well enjoy it, when we have decided that sound actually can be heard in space.
- Generally more environment (read: nature) e.g. Gas clouds, nebulae, planetary debris and other "toppings" to make the environment more exciting. They don't have to have a function, just be there to marvel at.
- Ability to disable own ship explosion, so that you can get away in your pod rather that seeing a stuttering animation of an explosion and then see you pod go the same way.
- Better drone management as in: (see example).
- Free flight. Warp to any point in space.

Edited by: DrAtomic on 01/03/2007 19:55:231. Fix Drone UI, Allow us to place it where we want. 2. Fix contracts. 3. Fix the Marketplace: Make market jump range based instead of region based, it makes no sense of not knowing what is in the system next door. Give ALL items market slots so they can be traded on the market. Create BPC marketplace. 4. Stop the abuse of the NPC corps, the game design was to have people join a real corp asap. Limit amount of time in NPC corp/Implement freelancer corps/Link amount of time in NPC corp to tax the pay. NPC corps are not meant to be a safe heaven from wars, alt galore and whatever more they are abused for. 5. Make Vivox stay alive when node/client crashes. Add G15 support. 6. Create stock market. 7. Stop zerging. 8. Speed up skill training (change all level 5 requirements to level 4). Allow us to use the games content through one account within 2 years instead of 16. Give us skill queing. 9. Immersion, I hate being a static jpg. 10. Do NOT remove local (it will kill 0.0 ratting and mining and be nothing but a gankers wet dream without reasonable counter). |

Edited by: Telorast on 01/03/2007 23:46:23 1. More Shortcuts. Loot everything from wreck, launch drones, drones engage target. Select next target, open container, approach, warp, etc.
2. Stacking actions. Ability to select second target of weapons and drones so they attack next target after first is dead.
3. Add more mission variety. Currently there are way too few missions and they feel almost the same. Hopefully the fewer stronger mobs will fix some of it.
4. User interface needs an upgrade, more customization. Remove lag when fetching info from market or other sources. No need to lock interface.
5. More options with roles and corp management. Per station access, wallet divisions, etc.
6. Drone AI. Make drones smarter and add more options on behaviour such as making them stay together attacking the same target or having priority lists on what ship classes to attack first (frigs/cruisers...).
7. Remove agent quality, very few high quality combat agents in the game atm. Standing and agent level is enough to decide gains, no need for quality as well.
8. More events, game easily gets repetitive as it is.
9. Queue skills, forcing people to log in at the exact right time is just a hassle.
10. Lower travel time. Travel isn't fun, why does it have to take so much time? |

1. More attention to non-combat parts of the game and inject more civilian roles. 2. Variety in missions, they are currently too repetetive. 3. Reduce standings requirement for JC's. Some don't venture into 0.0/lowsec due to expensive implants but it takes forever to get enough standing for a JC. Item 2 is the main cause for many players getting too bored with missions and never reaching the standing required. 4. SPOS... When 5. Help for noob and solo miners by way of an alternative to jetcan mining. (Not my own thread but I like the idea). 6. Nice touch with the Tier3 BS's and Tier2 BC's but lets have more variety in future rather than recycling existing hulls as T2 variants. 7. The ability to send up to two ships somewhere while the player escorts them. 8. More speed/agility for mining barges. They are practically unarmed except for drones and make for an easy target since they take forever to get up to warp speed. This would make solo ninja mining in lowsec more viable with a barge. Players often don't bother ninja mining with cruisers or frigs due to the cargo limitations and low yield of mining lasers. It would get more players into lowsec. 9. The ability to remove the nebulae background and have just black. I don't mind since it relieves the boredom but it can interfere with the UI at times. Others have said they would prefer to have it permanently switched off. For those with low spec graphics cards, this would also be helpful. 10. Can't think of anything else right now... |

2. GET RID OF THE NOS (or at least get rid of the large NOS)- As it stands now, ONCE THIS ITEM IS GONE CREATING "BALANCE" WILL BE MUCH EASIER FOR THE GAME AS A WHOLE! If you want to bust enemy cap, make em use NEUTS and destroy there own (DRAWBACK is what this game is built on...NOS's HAVE VIRTUALLY NO DRAWBACKS ON MANY SHIP DESIGNS DUE TO THEIR ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION OF ENEMY TANK + POWERING OF YOUR TANK)....NOS + drone boats = a ship that can sport a very solid tank + full rack of mids devoted to control of the engagement + NOS-cap to power said tank while destroying the targets tank + decent damage from the drones (all thats needed with the NOS to win the day). No other ships in the game come close to this.
3. Slow down nano-ships - these things are a joke. This setup is able to exploit aspects of Eve-combat implemented to enhance frigate->cruiser to viability while suffering no combat disadvantages due to token torps/NOS(again) drones (again). With proper fitting, these ships are nigh-unkillable in the hands of an experienced pilot (effective countermeasures requiring gross numbers of ships/wacky fittings just to counter this particular setup + these ships must be well coordinated....all this just to be able to begin to damage one BS...)
4. Re-examine dronebays on all ships - consider the advantages a drone bay that can fit 5 heavies offers...it means you can dump highs for NOS's without crippling DPS...if NOS's stay in current form then bays on several (almost all) ships need improvement.
5. Add Larger logsitics ships with survivablity/dronebays
6. Change kinetic damage bonuses on caldari ships to RoF OR some other missile boosting atrib - Missiles have enough drawbacks as it is when it comes to DPS (and this is taking into account the relative easy Caldari can fit BCU's most of the time with tanks), please make "choosing the damage" attributes of missiles viable, giving users an interactive way to improve damage.
7. Examine ECM specific ships - last patches nerf basically destroyed these boats...let em at least get back to 75% of where they were before...WITHOUT turning these already impotent ships into flying gas cans (i.e. lows with strength mods/rigs)
8. Improve Nature of Alliance Warfare - more dynamic/less blob based
9. Improve Alliance Soverignty tools for controlled regions - allow an alliance to invest in some limited forms of automated defense for the space they have rightfully conquered. Give Pirates a means to get around it through work (Pirate Jump Points or something similar)
10. Improve Exploration - gotta love it when a days "exploration" yields less excitement then a trip to the dentist!

Yes I'm hardcore Carebear). This is the ONE reason I stopped playing for nearly two years. I love the base premise of this game, I embrace the complexities and massive economic structure. I can cope with the RATs and heavy duty missions, but I am a 'mature gamer' who just hates the whole ganker mentality. I would love to go exploring and mining more in deep 0.0 space, but everytime I do this, I end up getting ambushed and ganked by a gang of lowlifes who are so deep into negsec that they have literally nothing to lose. Let them gank people who are willing to play that... let the rewards be higher if you are opted in to Pvp... heck even mark my ship with pink carebear stickers... I really don't care.
Just leave me alone and let me play my weaksauce, noobish, non-l33t PvE game and bother somebody else. I guarantee you that I am not the only one who feels this way. |

1. Drone AI and UI. would be nice to put out some medium drones and to tell them to only attack cruisers for example. would be nice as well if they attack what they are assigned to and not what they like. 2. divisional wallets 3. pos micromanagement. do everything in one place for all structures. pos assets should be viewable in the corp/assets-tab so you don't have to go to a pos to see whether a item is there or not. 4. freighter at the pos. maybe with the introduction of a small-sized freighter between those available and the industrials. 5. standing required for empire pos are somewhat weird. i established an empire pos since i've grinded enough standings, but if i want to put up another one or upgrade the existing i would have to throw out all corp members with low faction standings (at least for a week or two) or found a new corp... maybe ceo's personaly faction standings should count here. 6. lottery OUT. invention is fine - but must be easier to achive. 7. make all t1 bpos available on the npc market and in empire. scattered around as they are is fine. i especially think of barges, strip miners and containers (for use at outposts/pos). 8. exploration done easier. i like the idea posted here: no more static roid-belts but be able to find some low-grade belts with low skills 9. skill queue. and if it is only for a second skill to start when the primary is done. 10. LP-shops. corp based. not per agent.

Add the option to make drones always stick to the same target, make one drone the leader or something. 4. Add a prefered target list for drones, telling them in which order to kill different sized ships (micro, small, medium, large, extra large). |

Better scenery and tactical enviroments *hiding in asteroid belts or somehting* 4. Fix lag issues with big battles dont just split up the fleets. 5. Better tutorial it tends to be very bland boring and slow for new players * its not bad it just lacks action and excitment. 6. Better graphics *vista and great more animations more realistic ship turning better explosions bullet contrails ect* 7. Walking in stations! *but make it important not just for looks and realistic* 8. More fiction and stories. Or make a chronicle of eve history. 9. Make mining more interactive and fun. 10. Increase profitability and fun of ganging- Increase sizze and importance of 0.0 pvp battles and make the world more dynamic interms of terrtory and ownership of systems. 9. |

Edited by: Sniser on 03/03/2007 20:49:48Sorry about my bad english 1. Lag in fleet battles. 2. At the moment fleet battles are only Sniper mode. Should be place for close combat too. I want have a "sense of fight" not just see a huge red circle on one side and a huge purple circle in the other 3. Local chat intel needs be gone. Atm this discourages any combat. Since you can count how many people are in the system. Usually until you dont have a equal size gang people dont attack. I hate need be 3-4h waiting on a pos for any huge laggy combat after a nice node crash 4. Problem with focus fire. I got an idea. What about if there is a module that you can only heal a friend at same time but by a lot. But this module can be active only when you are not active repairing yourself. So if you need heal to yourself you cant heal to your friend but if a gang focus only to one target their other team mates could heal his friend since they arent healing themselfs 5. Move combat out of gates 6.Amarr need be fixed. It isnt only onmi tanks. the cap energy turret bonus its lame. Amarr its a race with medium range but they have very few meds . So range is hard to maintain. Since usually we need meds for cap booster(the nos attack), disruptor and a webber or any fast ship will kill you. Give pulse some tracking or increase their range in small and medium ships. More easy fits! 7. 0.0 need some way to do missions. I usually found my self "fighting" for spawns when i need ratting with a lot people in the system. There are very few goods systems. Outpost owner could hire some agents to their bases 8. T2 prices are out of range. I dont want be farming 4h-5h to fit a single ship and lose them in a focus fire fight without even have chance to do anything in less than 1min. Its fine farm for 2h but more.. i have a rl too 9. Pos wars sucks and everything with alliance wars 10.PvE in eve is really boring. Its just be afking while shooting and looting. I would love have to group and group rewards with good IA and nice missions |

1) Hotkeys - the UI is very mouse-driven. With the exception of mods (which already have assigned hotkeys), there isn't any way to hotkey other popular actions(such as drone engage, target next closest hostile, target next closest gang/fleet member).
2) Gang/Fleet UI - Divorce this from the Target overview, make it it's own window. Make it clear which/who Leadership bonuses are being applied, and let commanders drag/drop members to different wings/squads
3) Drone UI - Divorce this from the Target overview, make it it's own window. Make drone groups more friendly to use
4) Station Inventory Management - allow production/market/contracts/assets to "see" inside containers (or open containers), so that you no longer have to drag all the items outside of neatly organized containers just to start a production job, or put on the market.
5) Drag n Drop - dragging an item onto a container icon should "drop" the item inside the container without having to open up the container (assuming you have access to).
6) Insta-Lag Death - there is nothing worse than zoning into a new room on a mission, seeing your overview light up light a christmas tree, then being unable to do anything for about 10 seconds... only to find once you are able to move your already at 0 shield, 40% armor, and popped before you can even line up for warp.
7) Better transition between high/low/0 sec via agents - right now, there isn't enough of a drive to push people out into the lawless areas of space. It's obvious the bulk of the game occurs out in 0.0, but it's very possible for a person to stay in high-sec for years and never have to step foot into 0.0 space. Make jumpclones more accessable (lower the rep requirement). Move most of the L3 agents to low sec. Move all L4+ agents to low/0 sec. Give players a bigger reason to migrate towards 0.0 as they progress in the game - and agents are one logical way to help promote this.
8) Encourage/revamp "remote" mods - items such as remote reppers/transfer arrays/tracking links. These are great ways that people can gang together with unequal skills (a starting player with their first cruiser helping out a corpmate with their battleship in a L4/DED complex, for instance). There are ships with great ship bonuses for these items, but the transfer range is extremely limiting (~5km for most) - maybe add to the Skill required for use a range-increasing modifier to at least get the host ships out of range of anti-blob weaponry (smartbombs) and room for some defense (ie. defender missles vs FoF fire). Increase the range out some, either base for the mod, as a ship bonus modifier, or as part of the required skill for using the mod. Another good idea would be to scale the effect inversely to the distance, or scale the effect to the capabilities of the host ship (ie: a cruiser could provide a better tracking link than a frigate).
9) High-sec thievery - It's great that Concord is there to protect you, and it's equally great that the UI alerts you when you get stolen from, but it's unfair that you get penalized for protecting your own assets. 2 additional larger sizes in secure containers would help (perhaps a freakin giant 6km3/7.8km3 capacity, and a insanely giant 12km3/15.6km3 capacity can - just for example), but not entirely solve the problem (and may cause other problems to be honest). Having Concord just target thieves isn't the answer either, since some people ask permission for looting/salvaging wrecks, giving a player kill rights on thieves would let them retaliate without having to worry about Concord busting them just for protecting what is theirs to being with.
10) Miscellaneous interface glitches - tractor beam graphics always start firing at some odd angle, clicking "Show Info" on an empty mod slot will infintely load a blank window, selecting an item from the Target Overview when a ship/item is destroyed or changes position via sort order will sometimes change your selection, etc. |

1. Never ever remove local. Maybe introduce that covert ops ships are able to vanish from it if they activate their covert ops modules. But never ever touch local channel. It will kill lowsec and 0.0 population not only in the meaning of folks loosing their ships but fewer folks populating them. Local is a source for the pirates too. How should they know if there are some targets? Or if they have to jump to 23 belts/planets/moons/do scans before they know there is a valuable target?
2. Make combat pvp a choice for both involved sides. Not only for the pirates. So if one is aggressed by another player one can choose to fight back or just fly by. Something like on the so called blue servers in everquest 1 would be nice. Kind of a duelling system. Sorry cant describe it better cause of my bad english :( Wouldnt it be more satisfying for all involved parties to know the target wants to get blown up and not just getting "griefed"? And dont let this system interfere with alliance or corp warfare. This should be mostly the same like it is atm.
3. Remove/reduce lag. It's unpleasant when i open e.g. the marketwindow that the ui is blocked/lagged out for a few seconds. Maybe transfer the market data in the background and/or update it in the background just when moving to another region. Maybe this would generate to much load on your servers tho. So i dont have clue on how to fix this soon. Maybe make more threads for concurrent jobs of the ui so the clients load is able to split up a bit more.
4. Dont urge players to join player driven corps. If they want to stay in a npc corp they should be able to do so without any "punishment".
5. Remove T2 bpo's completely. Maybe offer the owners a billion or two. Maybe just turn them into multirun bpc's. And speed up the introduction of invention.
6. Make invention the way anyone is able to use it. Sure slower than a specialised char but still able to have a small benefit from it.
7. Drone ui with more options to command those pesky lil buggers. Like engage this target and then return to ship and orbit no matter what evil pc/npc do to me or you. Maybe the ability to make up for a row of targets the drones should intercept not only one single.
8. Finally give the miners some sort of a secure mining can. Maybe something like a secure jetcan (when given a name its secure or something) or something like a MUCH bigger secure can. 3900m³ is just ridiculous. Even for noobs.
9. Make teamplay better accessible. I mean who wants to travel 20 or more jumps for a gang of his friends/corpmates/allymates? Introduce some possibilty for "beaming" them to the gang wherever they are. To avoid exploits with this mechanism show a modal window reading exactly who want you beamed and to where (with system sec).
10. Get rid of those long known bugs before introducing new content/features/whatever.

1. Make more and even more powerful rats spawn in highsec from 0.9 to 0.5.
2. Extinguish roid belts in 1.0 and 0.9 systems and let the rest of the belts in other systems have those roids.
3. Make combat pvp consensual. Not listening to what the pirate forum whiners say. *eg* Carebears have their right on existance too.
4. Introduce some sort of faster travelling like jumpdrives on frigates. Its more than annoying to be urged to travel lots of jumps just for being able to gang up with friends. Maybe let the gangleader do some "magic" calling gangmembers to where he is located.
5. Asteroid habitats for players. Placed only in systems with no stations. Maybe even placeable by players. So they have a place where to store ores without a station and still have to transport them to a station for refining.
6. Make client multithreaded for reducing clientside lags if that not allready happened. More and more people will have multicore machines. And even on singlecore machines multithreading provides advantages.
7. Fix that allready long know bugs.
8. Let there be a possibility to get skillqueues. Not just if skill a level b runs out you're urged to log in and have to start another one but if skill runs out start next level automagically as long as the bugger is paying us money. ;-) Maybe let skills be startable from the My Character webpage if thats an option.
9. For nano'bs: just make 100NM AB's and 100NM MWD's consume 10 times (or whatever you think is an ok ammount) the cap they would need without nanos mounted. Problem solved i hope.
10. Give each race a ship with equal capabilities of a raven. Each player should be able no matter what race he has chosen to do missions as easy as a raven pilot. I dont want to see the raven nerfed tho. Its a good missionship. But other races lack one of those. |

Speaking as a freelancer and casual player...
1. First and foremost: Fix those old bugs before you even think of letting have us fun on new content. UI freezes while opening other ingame windows for example or having to adjust the shipzoom when jumped through a gate.
2. Get the miners not only means of intercepting orethieves but containers which can be useful for mining too. Those giant secure containers are just laughable at. Neither they're giant nor they are sufficient. Seed secure containers which use 10.000m³ in cargo and provide 13.000m³ and other secure containers which use 20.000m³ and provide 25.000m³. Same specs for anchoring as the allready known cans. Do this next patch... It's easy enough i think. Oh and before i'll forget about it... Please remove all those floating around giant secure containers (maybe pay back the market value to the owners). Or make secure containers vanish after a week or two not being touched. This will reduce lag in the belts i hope.
3. Dont stress freelancer/casual players to combat pvp if they dont want to do it. Consensual combat pvp would be a very very nice feature. Freelancer are paying you the same ammount of money as combat pvp addicts do (I even think freelancer/casual players paying more for the fun they get then the addicts). And eve is allready a very pvp heavy game. In any sense of pvp. Even if ppl only see combat pvp as the only available pvp option. They just have to open their minds and adapt to it.
4. Skill training queue would be a nice to have.
5. Get us again something valuable as missionbonus. Not just a lousy cash reward and cash bonus. That is especially meant for those non-kill-missions (courier/trade...). Maybe some bpc's, salvagable stuff or what you like. ANYTHING except cash would do as long it's around the worth of the cashbonus...
6. Freeform keyboard shortcuts. Every player should be able to set his own shortcuts.
7. Give them amarrs a little loving just to get up to the same powers as other races are. Dont know what exactly this could be but i see the gap between the races.
8. Triple or even quadruple/quadify (whatever its called...) the science and manufacturing slots. Maybe just stock up on slots until there are finally 25% free of them. Its just annoying when casuals have to wait not only the usual month but three to six months getting this research slot they need... well maybe this problem vanishes when bpo's vanish and invention is introduced. But then please make invention at least of a lil use to casuals too.
9. Splitting of cashrewards, bonusrewards, lp's and faction hits between gangmembers when they join up to do missions together. Not only splitting the rat bounties and sec hits. Hmm... sec hits... dont remember whether they're splitted allready. If not split em too between gangmembers.
10. A possibility for faster travelling to gangmembers in the means of better teamplay. For example: I have two hours for play this day. I log in and see a friend 20 jumps away from me and we want to gang up and do something together. I'd loose at least 25 minutes (depending on the ship i need it can be even more) for traveling to where he is or vice versa if he'd travel to me. So i would only have 1 hour 30 minutes for playing together with him which is a serious disadvantage for both of us. And i can see the great use of a faster travel mechanism for other players too not just me as a casual player. |

1) Change "Player Owned Structures" - Currently managing these is almost like a real life job. They are also currently a MUST for any large scale battle to conquer space, and it takes most of the fun in EVE away when you have to "grind" POS's to actually "win".
2) Logging Off - A log off timer like they have in WoW should be added and made standard. When logging off you have to wait x seconds standing still doing nothing, any action done or done at you will abort the logg off timer. In POS and stations this should be instantly, and in the matter of POS ships should not warp away, they should stay.
3) Dynamic Content - I am thinking random events that happens through out the galaxy, bring more life into the universe, be it by more Aurora members or just make NPC's for it (Freelancer and X - Beyond the frontier style where NPC's kinda "live on their own").
4) Module and Ship Balance - Modules and ships should be balanced towards the backstory fiction. This will make the game more "real" to the fiction, and roleplayers would be happy too. :)
5) GUI Optimzation - Currently the GUI is.. CRAP! Heavy loads and spikes, GUI freezing when loading data. In other games the GUI continues while the data loads, in EVE it stops as the information flow stops.
6) System and Regional Balance - Many systems look the same, they should me ALL different. Each and every system should be special and have a unique look and feel. Each system should also be valueable in its own way, no more 4 system per region is UBER while rest is CRAP.
7) Ammo Balance slash Tactical PvP - I believe these two are related. In large fleets you fitt one kind of ammo and can shoot at anything, what was the point of other ammo types again?
8) Subsystem Damage - Make smaller ships be able to target subsystems, and at the same time decrease smaller ships damage against larger ships. Meaning that for small ships to take on larger would take TIME, but smaller ships can cripple a large ship to near destruction.
9) Local Chat - Remove it in 0.0 or make a POS module that gives the alliance with sovreinigty ability to see whos in local.
10) More Entertaining Professions - Mining IS dull, travelling IS dull, exploration (no matter what people say) IS dull. They are ALL grinds, press 1 2 3 REPEAT untill desire result is accomplished. Not really a good thing imo. |

1) Client UI upgrades i.e. change the layout: overview+drones+gang tab is a bit too much, also chat windows - give some other options then spliting the channels among the diffrent tabs, multiplexing and aggregation of text from diffrent channels might be a good idee (character name:Channel> Msg?), it would be really helpfull if you have those local, gang, squadron, wing and custom intel channels open 2) Client Log updates; this really needs some love, drone dmg reports are one thing, but options to filter diffrent messages etc - THIS REALLY NEEDS SOME LOVE 3) Drone upgrades; AI, some options to adjust the AI on runtime like changing the tactics of drones i.e. aggresive on enemies within range or attack only on aggression, fix also the drone states when checking the drones info - I really would love to see the drone states affected by skils/ship bonuses 4) More interesting rats; in terms of spawns (big bad capital spawns) and also strategies and module usage; make them more PvPish like (EW, drones whatever) 5) Nos nerf, maybe take signature radius into account, now some nice t2 frigs like AF's are just too nosferatu-prone :/ 6) Corp interface just needs a lot of love, this is same for wallet, corp AND private wallet divisions would be nice (especialy if you are a trader/producer to check your income and make proper bookkeeping - eve is just an Excel-ent game and needs such stuff) 7) Deblobing 8) T2 inventions - need that for consumables like ammo and drones 9) More interesting enviroments (not just stars, planets and backgrounds) 10) This is a hard one, REAL 3D enviroment, now everything is really flat and lies on one plane - even stupid ship auto-alligment into horizontal plane is anoying - some nice camera works and real 3d feel would be nice - i want to do barrelrols in my ceptor) |

Edited by: Revolution Rising on 04/03/2007 22:31:00 So far it's a love/hate relationship with CCP and eve. I've been playing for a year I think. I rerolled once and have about 3million SP. Most of my stuff is in mining and barges, some industry, a little science, drones, and EWar. I recently got a 2nd account for hauling and research work (hopefully in the near future).
1) Fix the Petition System. Waits of a month (some petitions I've heard of not being answered AT ALL) are not acceptable.
2) Fix the god damn bugs and stupid crap that just plain "doesn't work". I posted a build for bellicose (I use cruisers in a support capacity in wartime) which included an automated targetter. Dude, it doesn't work - hasn't for 2-3 patches. And noone has even LOOKED at fixing it. Also I spent a week or more learning skills for EW Drones. They come back to your ship at about 1/10th the speed they travel to a target at. All this little stuff needs fixing and you're adding voice to the game. Who cares if the damn game doesn't work?!!?
3) The Standings system - please allow either MANY more standings to be set or standings against alliances. 4) Custom Ship Graphics. This would just be astonishingly cool. Paint/Corp Colors/War Paint etc.. It could be something that is put on at build time and is hard to redo or expensive or w/e. Could start a whole new industry here. 5) More News from the Devs regarding what is ACTUALLY being worked on - I know some project manager has a list on his computer - publish it! 6) More automated stuff - I dunno how this would work, I saw the idea for cargo drones earlier this week for miners to relay stuff to the station rather than jetcanning. Being able to hire NPC's for missions and various duties would be VERY cool tho. Even if limited to 1 per person or something, join a gang with humans - NPC goes back to base etc.. 7) Factional Warfare - yes please. Let's lone wolf players do something. EvE isn't geared for the lone wolf at all, it's very sad. 8) "Soft" Contracts. Man Ebay has this. Soft contracts that rely on feedback rather than hard facts. You could put a contract up that's good for 200 mercenaries to be hired. Lone wolf players like myself could take advantage and just contract a few days onto someone's war AND get paid for it appropriately. Feedback is left by both people, contract over. 9) Customizable Local Chat - or something similar - so you could get a warning on screen when a war target or -ve person enters local. The local chat window is HUGE and takes up too much room IMO. There's definately better ways to do this. 10) NPC Couriers. PC Couriers are pretty hard to come by and the amount of collateral is prohibitive to the newbs who need 1m isk. And if someone with 1b isk has the collateral - why would they want the job ? I only know of 1 person took one of these jobs in a year and he stuffed it up because he had to make so many trips and it wouldn't accept the goods at the end - the courier stuff has to be reworked or fixed somehow.
Please read this *crosses fingers*.

1. Overhaul POS warfare. Tall order I know, but the servers simply can't support the current system and problems like POS spam are becoming absurd.
2. Remove or drastically change hidden belts in 0.0. More bistot stuck in a pocket of deadspace isn't really needed out there ;)
3. Move invention forward to replace the current T2 bpo system. Invention will need some buffs, t2 bpo's already in game should be made much less efficient to offset their infinite run advantage in a system lacking introduction of any more bpo's.
4. Fix Logoffski. Any kind of connection loss while inside a bubble should not allow you to warp away.
5. Anything you can do to further cut down on fleet lag is always nice. Especially lag around POS's which is usually far worse than normal for some reason. The fact that the POS keeps shooting while the entire grid is lagged out doesn't help matters.
6. Nanoships. They're bad. They should have a role but a battleship should not be able to move 10km/s and maneuver like an interceptor, even if they cost 400 million to fit.
7. Better loot/chance of loot in hidden complexes. ATM the time spent and difficulty completing some of them FAR FAR outweighs the reward. Meanwhile the static complexes drop billions in loot and by now have become simple to complete every day. The good loot in hidden complexes shouldn't hinge solely on being lucky enough to get escalations all the way to the end.
8. NPC corp abuse. Noob corps should be a starting point, nothing more. This could be tied in to factional warfare. Players could have the option of joining a non-noob npc corp (if they don't want to join a player corp) but with the catch that those npc corps are treated like a player corp (ie. war deccable).
9. More rogue drone belt spawns. I'm biased here because my corp is based in one of the new regions, but rogue drone equivalent of hauler or commander spawns would be great. Hauler spawns especially, we're swimming in high end mins from the alloys (which are worth less and less these days) but have a hard time getting enough low ends to build anything.
10. Event driven music. More music in general, then an event driven system of playing it. Change the music as the player's actions change (combat plays more combat oriented music, mining plays more ambient stuff, Minmatar space plays certain tracks, Amarr others... etc). |

I`d like to be able to listen to "Rose of victory" without blowing my speakers once I go to warp. |
