This attack had one reason. To show FLA and the north that while small we are capable. FLA members lately have bad mouthed us, and have made a number of comments about us dying, running and generally being mutilated. Well as we felt these comments were completely untrue we decided to do something which we had not previously attempted. With a gang of 35 people 7 of which were capitals we went into the heart of FLA space, and took on everyone in the north who was around. the enemy gang reached 160-170 people. Their POS's were saved but after a number of engagements lasting hours through the night we inflicted a heavy ammount of losses. The whole episode lasted about 5 hours. Kills/Losses 80/10 Frigate: 12/0 Elite Frigate: 9/2 Covert Ops: 3/0 Destroyer: 1/0 Cruiser: 14/0 Battlecruiser: 8/0 Battleship: 23/5 Capsule: 20/2 We lost 1 medium tower in this attack. Cost of 200 mil. Good fights to those who were respectful, local was generally friendly and everyone involved seemed to have a good time. We'll be back |

Just a shame we only had around 3 interceptors the whole night otherwise the killcount would of been alot higher.
I'm sure we will be up there again in no time =] |

Well yes. Point proven. Some sloppy losses on our side, and yes we got tired. Imagine what we could have done if we had the numbers. Just to put it into perspective, if you hadn't have had the support and numbers of your allies we could have probably have taken the station. GF to CORE and whoever else showed up.
Everything you've been saying about Burn Eden and them teaching you how to PVP, I think tonight has served you all well. We go away with a victory in our minds, we started with this at 12pm today, within 12 hours we achieved what we set out to. I hope you guys dont try to turn this into some kind of win for you because it isnt.
To all those I flew with tonight, excellent job and comittment. Was a pleasure. |

"Well Done Triumvirate.
Your organization was the reason that FLA fleet started to re-think how we did things and anyone that tells you different just doesnt know.
Dont take the words of a few as fact from the whole of FLA.
If we ever kicked your butts totaly in a battle it will be me announcing it and it just aint happened.
We may have more kills on you than BE but thats only because you have come here 50 times more than BE. On the flip side you have 50 times more kills on us than BE because of same reason.
Tri Folks, what a awesome thing you did today and the amount of coordination and potential loss and risk you assumed has convinced me to be a bigger fan.
Doesnt mean we dont want to contnue to fight and learn from you though.
Point made....point taken....much respect!!"

You did, however, forget to mention the fact that had you not exploited the alt-log, you would have also lost two dreads. All in all though, good smack-free fight. Next time you want to come up for beers though, just let us know in advance and we'll have the welcome party ready for you |

There is a way to log your dreads out mid seige. Your dreads will just dissapear. And yes, I filed a bug report on it about 3 weeks ago when I first discovered it. Sparta command told me if i ever used it in combat they would skin me alive. Originally by: Tiuwaz

yeah and CCP is bug and lag free and all your ship losses when your client crashes is because your computers suck I was ready to give them a hearty well done until the logoffskis.. btw just tried it, 3 times actually with another account watching.. instant logoff, almost instantaneous ship warp off, even with an agro, if they cannot repeat it, methinks they should step down from their positions.. |

Would that be similar to the bubble log off tactic we saw one of you're alliance mates pull not 2 hours ago in a random 0.0 system? Dont preach what you dont practice, on any level. Were all players, were all flawed. |

I wasn't in the system at that time (was travelling back through empty Deklein and Fade in my pod) but from what I have hear on TS both dread pilots waited 15 aggro time warping through safespots. And CCP stated numerous times - there is no alt log off exploit. |

RE: the dreads
To all the posters saying that its not possible, didn't happen, CCP says its not true, blah blah blah... here are the facts:
1. The dread was probed down while its respective pilot was still showing up in local, still piloting them, chatting in local, and hence, not already logged off. 2. Fleet warped to dread at range and scrams, 'dictor bubbles, etc. 3. We engage the dread and get it into armor 4. Dread simply disappears some minutes after being engaged. It did not warp off the grid, as if we had probed him down when he still had agro, they logged after we began attacking, and the dreads (while bubbled and scrammed) simply disappeared.
This happened twice. Once with a Naglfar, and once with a Moros. Debate your defenition of terminology, game mechanics, whatever. These are simply the facts. |

Seems alot of people are missing 1 major point here , FLA as with all space holding alliances in the north , have to blob a 35 man gang with 160+ pilots. and call in support from other alliances, and still LOSE the fights. Respect as always TRI All northern corps/alliances let this be a lesson for you , if BoB decide your next ( then its seems your already dead)you are going to need to learn to fight against these massive odds lol 35 v 160+ and you still manage to lose pathetic. Much insta POP? |

If this is the case all I can say is: petition it as an exploit. I know only what I heard on TS: they were waiting aggro by warping through safespots, than logged off. If it is so simple to disappear (by logging alt) none will be bothering with waiting 15 minutes. I will test it on my own when I get online ASAP. |
